Publisher's summary

This box set includes all four novels in JP Kenwood's Dominus Series: Dominus (1), Games of Rome (2), Blood Before Wine (3), and Favorites of Fortuna (4). It also includes the Dominus novella, February and December.

Dominus is a plot-packed, high heat, high angst MM historical fantasy saga that transports listeners back to ancient Rome during the reign of Emperor Trajan (98-117). These four books follow the unlikely love story of two main characters and lifelong enemies: Gaius Fabius Rufus, a bisexual Roman general and candidate for the imperial throne, and Allerix, a gay Dacian royal prince captured and enslaved at the end of the Second Dacian War. This alternate history LGBT series is a tumultuous journey filled with forbidden love, humor, sex, friendship, political intrigue, family dynamics, deception, and murder. The main Dominus series is complete. The bonus prequel novella features characters from the main series.

All words and art and performances have been created by highly original and uniquely fabulous humans.

Loved it

I love this series. Hannibal Hills and Nick J. Russo really bring these amazing stories to life.
---Dominus (Dominus, #1) --The characters are amazing and the story holds you captive leaving you wanting more. This story is set in ancient Rome during the reign of Emperor Trajan (AD 98-117). It has fighting, love and revenge. I cant wait to read the second book.
--- Games of Rome (Dominus, #2) --The characters and story are amazing. The story is set in the reign of Emperor Trajan (AD 98-117). Gaius Fabius Rufus will do anything to protect his Dacian Prince Allerix. Will Gaius Fabius Rufus be able to protect him from all the dangers of Rome?
---Blood Before Wine (Dominus, #3)--With a heir Gaius Fabius it will help secure his claim to the throne. His illegal Dacian Prince named Allerix if his identity is discovered could destroy everything. From Rome to Dacia there will be danger and enemies at every turn. Will Gaius Fabius and Allerix make it out of this alive?
---Favorites of Fortuna (Dominus, #4)--Rome prepares to go to war and Gaius Fabius Rufus faces many obstacles at home. When in Dacia he sets his Wolf Prince Allerix free even though it breaks his heart. Will the fates bring them back together and have a love that would erase then from history?
--- February and December (Dominus Calendar #1)--The characters and stories are amazing. Two amazing short stories follow characters from the Dominus series.

Fantastic Story

I’m a big fan of ancient history and this was beautifully written. It may be closer to historical erotica than romance, but that’s not a bad thing. I loved it. The ending tied everything up but also left open the possibility of more adventures for Gaius and Allerix.
My one criticism is Allerix’s voice. The narrator was damn near perfect on all the other characters, especially Gaius. He sounded exactly like I expected an arrogant, sharp-witted Roman to sound like. Unfortunately, the voice he chose for our beloved Dacian sounded more like a forty-year-old man with vocal cord damage than a young prince. I did get used to it, but it took a little away from his charisma.

I still highly recommend this memorable audiobook. Whether or not there’s another story coming, it was a wonderful listen, and I’ll probably listen again.
