About this listen

You can't choose your family. Or can you?

Meet the Bensons. A pleasant enough couple. They keep themselves to themselves. They wash their car, mow their lawn and pass the time of day with their neighbours. And they have a beautiful little girl called Daisy.

There's just one problem. Daisy doesn't belong to the Bensons. They stole her. And now they've decided that Daisy needs a little brother or sister.

DS Nathan Cody is about to face his darkest and most terrifying case yet....

This is my first David Jackson book, and I was very pleased. Interesting story, good characters, and solid pacing. Will definitely consider other books by this author.

Glad I read it!

This was a great listen and Keeble is outstanding. Cody, Blunt, and Webbly are an interesting trio of characters.

Quickly becoming one of my favorite series

I've read every book that he has written so far. Each one amazing. But, this is one of the greatest books I've ever listened to! It needs to be made in to a movie.

This book should be a movie!

I am a huge fan of these David Jackson novels. The story grabbed me from the beginning and I listened late into the night. The characters are beautifully developed and the story flows through the different subplots.

Another Excellent Nathan Cody book

Excellent narration and seat of your pants type storyline. Wonderful achievement by the author and narrator.

Seat of the pants

I have to admit that I loved the book but didn’t care for the ending. Left too much unknown and I was empty needing more. Starting the 4th book now and hoping for some continuation on what happens with the girls!

Love the series

Don't Make A Sound proved to be an excellent thriller in the Nathon Cody series--but not because of Cody. The emotional journey of one of the victims helped make this story compelling and hard to turn off; I HAD to get to the end (the very last 5 minutes of the book were the most disappointing). I like seeing another side of Blunt as well; she became more human in this story.

The reader Jonathan Keeble nailed all of the characters' personalities, and it's a pleasure to hear him read this series.

This book is definitely worth a listen.

Best Book of the Series

I’m so glad to have found this author. He can wave a story that is so interesting and always give you a great ending. The people are real the motives make sense. It’s just a step above most books!

Best Book!!

Ordinarily I do not enjoy psychological thrillers, but this series is so well done, I look forward to each new book. The critic reviews for the first book seemed to indicate a police procedural series, however, it was a very dark story. The success, of this series for me, is the development of the characters. Don't make a sound is another dark entry, but it makes sense and has a wonderful conclusion.

This series continues to get better with each book

I have listened to over a 100 Audible books, and Keeble is one of the best narrators that I have heard. He made a good story into a super one.
