One of the most impactful books I have ever read. However, the narration was a little hard to read through as you could hear the gulping of the narrator throughout the narration. Overall, I enjoyed listening to this great book.

I saw a Old video about “Complex” and i decided to google this book… No one i know will admit to these feelings i have always had about my “place” as a Chocolate Woman. This Book just told me what I’ve been feeling and witnessing in 2021 back to 1983 i was RIGHT!! Even how my parents made me this way. Thank You… THANK you!!
