Publisher's summary

Wounded, with a target still on his back, Kieren Moonring has been hiding in the last place his Morgon enemies might find him—the Sisterhood of Light. In the human convent on the southern shores of Primus, his body heals quickly, but his soul is broken. Bitterness and fury fill that gaping chasm that was opened by the evil Larkosians.

While Sister Liana tends to the recovering Morgon man hiding in their convent, she can’t stop or disguise her growing attraction. What disturbs her more is when he begins to uncover her past that is best kept buried. Her secrets will only lead to more danger for herself...and for Kieren.

What angers him most about Liana is her unwavering belief that hope can cure the world. Her naïve and misguided ideals will get her killed. And when she becomes the next target...bloody hell, if he won’t murder the whole world to keep her safe.

Storyline good but female voice annoying

I like the storyline but the female voice was annoying. Her male voice was better then female lead. The male voice was good.

Moonrings!

This one does not disappoint! This has a lot of action while we follow an almost continuous story throughout the series. I enjoyed getting back to the Moonring’s. Seeing how Kieren is doing and finding his lady. Liana is jot what I was expecting for him but more than once she showed how perfect for him she is. She has quite the past. I enjoy listening to this on audio and getting to hear Meghan Kelly and Aiden Snow being all these characters is a delight.

Good

I have been waiting for Kiernan’s story for a few years since reading Kohl’s and Moira’s. This is a good story, but there is a slight let down. There have been far better spicy scenes in the other books tied to this series than this book had. I honestly didn’t feel the connection between Lianna and Kiernan. There was too much of her father brought into the story and it follows a path of each character clearly knowing they should be honest, but neither being an adult and telling the truth to quell any misgivings and misguided thought processes. The biggest thing that did make me like this book was the male vo actor Aiden. I wasn’t really into the female’s tone for her performance. So my ratings reflect Aiden’s performance not the female’s. He helped to keep me captivated to the story. Overall it’s good but not grand like some of the other books in the series simply because well it was largely a slow burn that didn’t live up to the potential of this established world. Again read it. Just don’t get your hopes up too high.
