About this listen

Before vowing his allegiance to Wulder as a knight, Bardon heads to the mountains for solitude. His life is suddenly complicated by a woman and her granddaughter, N'Rae, on a mission to rescue the woman's son trapped in a chamber of sleep. Bardon learns that more of Paladin's knights are imprisoned - and suspects one of them is Dragon Keeper Kale's missing father.

The band travels north, uncertain of their destination and encountering numerous perils. When they unlock the chamber, they discover a dozen knights - who cannot be awakened. The journal holding the secret to rousing them is in an unknown language. How can they find the help they need, and overcome even graver obstacles, to rescue the knights?

Return to the land of dragons and magic you discovered in Dragonspell and DragonQuest, in this finely crafted and memorable work of fantasy fiction with a core of eternal truth.

pleasant little stories.

I love all of these stories, even if they are meant for the youth. ;-)

Love this series :)

Probably my favorite in the series
So many good themes and lessons in here that really had some great take always when I read them when I was younger - now going through them again I’m still warmed by these stories and glad some of those things stayed with me into my young adult life and now life as a mother :)
Like the conversation Bardon Has with N’Rae in her chapter is so good and his story with Kale gave me yet another hopeful picture of what I waited for in my own life :)

Some of those lessons already where taken to heart at the time but these words reaffirmed what I had already purposed :)
God is good and He is a rewarder of those who wait on Him .. and seeking first His kingdom, His will truly does put us in a position to be blessed with all the other things that we may not have really dared to hope for before.. but He often does bless with those things just because He can and He wants to bring an even sweeter part to our story :)

Right now I’m in another one of the sweeter parts but often also painful ones .. just gave birth to my third daughter - these children I had waited for so long! This season has me in recovery and with a lot of resting time so listening to these books are another way to reminisce and pass the time and remember where I was when I had first gone through these books and now thank the Lord for where He has me now :) looking back on Gods faithfulness is truly a blessing

No child should miss this book!

Reading the Dragonkeeper series is the most pleasant and impactful thing my father ever did for me. Now that he is gone (deceased) and I am grown (20 yrs old), I see that God used it to grow me into the man I am! It is scary how like Bardon I have become!

DragonKnight has always been my favorite book in the series, and the reader performed it beautifully!
It is funny, meaningful, and filled to bursting with real Christian allegory! This entire series is on par with the Chronicles of Narnia, but is a little less heavy handed. It is less about events and focuses on character!

It is a tender series for tender readers and, so, is not for everyone. However, having just read it for the first time in eight years, I still enjoy it even though I am a hard, cynical, big bearded blacksmith.

When I become ‘Dad’, I will read this book to my kids and will listen to it with my whole family again and again!

I love this series!!!

I love this series!!! I real life problems and adventure. I love all the characters and their personalities! So much adventure and fun to go around. I especially LOVE Paladin and Wholder (spelling oops). Paladin is personal and there when you need him. And Wholder is the creater of everything and knows everything. i can't wait till my children are old enough to understand. My husband and I have been listening to these everytime we get in our van.

Loving the minor (and major) dragons!

I really like the way this series is always keeping me on the edge of my seat. The twist and the moments when you can see a big plot unfold adds to the charm!

I love this series!

While it maybe written more for kids or young adults, it is a great listen without being preachy. Simple life lessons that make sense. Just enjoy the story.
