About this listen

As the Empress ascends her throne and Numistar Winterborn plots to gain unstoppable power, it falls to a hatchling Star Dragoness to navigate the clash between two almighty forces. Upon her tiny shoulders rests the future of all Dragonkind. Yet, does a sinister mastermind lurk behind the war convulsing the Island-World? A supremely twisted, devious foe?

Islands will be toppled from their roots. Nations will be ravaged by sword and talon. Legends will rise. And the courage of a girl born to dance, born to the flame of Dragon life, must withstand the ultimate test.

She is Blue-star, the rarest glimmer of dawn. Lodestone. Rebel. The princess who dared to love a Dragon, and became the Dragonstar. Now, the Dragonstar must shine, or be snuffed out forever.

Conclusion with only the hook of a great story ahead!
Enjoy each book but love an ending that peaks the imagination without the annoyance of a cliffhanger.
I'll be looking for more from both author and narrator. Thank you

Narration was better than many, except for maybe the dragon's growl and explosions lol Marc came up with some really interesting names too. Good story line. Starting on another set of his books now!

Enjoyed this book...

I've been waiting awhile for the release of this book and it was worth the wait! It finishes the story for the series (and leaves room for possibly more?) and overall was completely awesome. I won't say it's the best book in the series, but it definitely has a lot of action, romance, and is a great ending to the dragonfriend series.

Complete Awesome Sauce!

I had been following this series and the author, frankly, needs to get a new editor. The prose has become overwrought and meandering, preferring overly purple prose and poetic wandering that actually hinders the understanding of things going on and the romance plots have at this point completely overshadowed the more interesting, and better written, core fantasy epic. Disappointing overall.

Meandering and Unfocused

The idea was good and had so much potential. The execution left a lot to be desired. I loved Flicker and Elky. As much as I wanted to love the relationship between the FMC an MMC, I was just aggravated by them both. The back and forth of the relationship became tedious, not to mention how abusive it seemed to be at times. Additionally, the action seemed to leap about sporadically. I frequently found myself saying, Wait, what?” The continuous battling was unrealistic and tiresome. I was just ready to be done with it.

It was very hard to follow. Almost abandoned it.
