About this listen

Who will save the Dragon from the Princess?

Blitz is meant to be a rampaging Devastator Dragon. Unfortunately, lighting his own hearth fire isn't really a strength. When he accidentally kidnaps the black Princess Azania, the most beautiful woman in all the realms, riches, honor, and undeniable glory beckon.

Never mind that every knight errant, prince, and scoundrel in the land now wants his head on a platter. Minor details.

Far worse, she's a woman with actual ideas and the nerve to decide she doesn't want to be rescued. What she'd rather do is reform her Dragon. Her Dragon! Gnarr!

With humor, unconventional flair and the odd stomp of a diminutive slipper, the mismatched pair set out to turn the kingdoms on their heads.

Beware. Fate hath no fury like a Dragon-riding Princess scorned.

I waited to do a proper review. I enjoyed the whole series. I will be getting more books from the author. These books were well written. the story was fun to follow. I enjoyed the back story and not too OP. I enjoyed this series profusely.

I loved all of them

It was fun and light until it began lecturing about race, on and on and on….. couldn’t finish.. too boring.
A wouldn’t have minded a bit of it… but it was really long and boring and honestly… obvious for any human being

Fun until it started preaching

It is about an artistic dragon who has a princess and uses her to interface with the human world. Also he does dragon things and goes on an adventure. It has lots of feral dragon PoV, with the occasional princess PoV. The narrator also makes lots of dragon noises.

Lots of dragon time.

I'm about half way through and giving up. Just don't care enough about it. I like the premise, like the characters...I think. I would have liked more actual character development and a lot less banter. Some of it's cute, and I admire the dedication to alliteration. But it gets old and feels beyond forced when every. single. interaction has to be banter. Maybe it loses something in being narrated, idk. Overall I think the narrator does a good job, his voices are well done although I think his overall delivery is too serious for this book. The novelty of the story is starting to lose out to the things that annoy me. And, calvary? CAVALRY! I don't know if it was the author or the narrator, but there's a chapter where the word Calvary is used incorrectly at least 30 times!

it's a dnf for me
