About this listen

A time to live. A time to die. A time to dream.

Sleep disorders specialist Kennedy Plain has been diagnosed with a fatal brain tumor. When her research subject dies after trying to convince her he has achieved dream-induced time travel and her study is shelved, she enlists herself as a subject to complete her research.

But when she dreams herself into 14th-century England and falls into the hands of Fulke Wynland, a man history has condemned as a murderer, she must not only stay alive long enough to find a way to return to her own time, but prevent Fulke from murdering his young nephews. And yet, the more time she spends with the medieval warrior, the more difficult it is to believe he is capable of committing the heinous crime for which he has been reviled for 600 years.

Baron Fulke Wynland has been granted guardianship of his brother's heirs despite suspicions that he seeks to steal their inheritance. When the king sends a mysterious woman to care for the boys, Fulke is surprised by the lady's hostility toward him - and more surprised to learn she is to be his wife. But when his nephews are abducted, the two must overcome their mutual dislike to discover the boys' fate.

What Fulke never expects is to feel for this woman whose peculiar speech, behavior, and talk of dream travel could see her burned as a witch.

Oh this is a GOOD one!

What did you like best about this story?

I like the way dreams take Kennedy into the past. This is a well written story.

The way Mac dies in our time and ends up in the past. I love Kennedy's mom - what a wonderful person. I like the way each time Kennedy leaves the past she changes history.

I cried so hard at the end. It was a real tear jerker with a happy ending. I have listened to this story more than once.....I cry like a baby each time at the end. Kennedy's mom is awesome.

Have you listened to any of Mary Sarah Agliotta’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I love the way Mary portrays Kennedy's mom. The rest of the characters have great accents. Nice job!

Left me in a Dreamspell

Not sure how I missed this one. It's been in my library for a while but never listened to it. Wow, I'm glad I found it.

Tamara Leigh has a gift of writing stories that come alive. Vivid characters and situations seem to paint pictures in your mind that seem real. Mary Sarah Agliotta has such a unique voice that adds dimension to the story. A duo that is difficult to duplicate.

This book has time travel, medieval adventures, touching moments and a clean romance. It's definitely worth the listen. 🌼

Wonderful story!

I have listened to quite a few of Leigh’s books and they are always enjoyable- but this is certainly a favorite. I enjoy clean romance, enjoy castles and knights- and intrigue but add in time travel and you have a really awesome combo!

Great

Tamara Leigh's book are always a go-to for me. The characters are real, as in they are flawed and overcome struggles to come out on the other side better for it. She has a magical ability to write fast paced plots that beg you to just read the whole thing through, otherwise you'll be stuck thinking about it if you take a break!

The narrator did a nice job handling the different characters of the story, make them real, not caricatures, and it was just a pleasant listening experience.

I would recommended for the story and the performance!

My Favorite

I have read (and listened) to almost all of Tamara Leigh's books. This is my favorite. The story is so touching it will make you cry... as long as you don't get caught up in the scientific possibility of time travel. Wonderful narration as well. Love, love, love it!

Best of my over 300 audiobooks

The characters were well developed and good. There is so much negativity in today's world that this escape into Dreamspell was a delight. I will read other of Mrs. Leigh books.

Would definitely recommend

It's been a long time since I've read (listened) to a book that brought on so many emotions. The story line is unique which was wonderful. It does seem to drag at times but it's so worth it. The ending is a tear jerker but in a wonderfully sweet way. Well written and the narrator is perfect for this book. Her voice really brings out the emotions. I would recommend this book to anyone that wants a little romance with a whole lot of life mixed into it.
