A bit dated but useful book on ETFs

The good part is it gave an in depth explanation of what makes ETFs special and how you should use them in a portfolio. The bad part was there was too much history about how they were developed and who was involved in their development for someone like me who just wants a better understanding of what an ETF is. Also, while the audio book was copywriting 2020, the book first came out in 2008 so it felt a bit dated in places. The book did what I needed it to do but was a bit too long winded for what I wanted

Better Title: A Long Semi-Boring History of the ETF

This was more of a long, drawn out history lesson of how ETFs were formed. Yes it proved some points, but it was several hours longer than what was required. Not ideal of most investors.
