Publisher's summary

Framed for a crime she didn't commit, a wrongly-imprisoned space captain's only chance at freedom is to abduct a fearsome alien war commander.

Sub-Captain Eve Traynor knows a suicide mission when she sees one. With deadly insectoid aliens threatening to invade Earth, the planet's only chance of survival is to get the attention of the fierce Eon Warriors. But the Eon want nothing to do with Earth, and Eve wants nothing to do with abducting War Commander Davion Thann-Eon off his warship. But when Earth's Space Corps threaten her sisters, Eve will do anything to keep them safe, even if it means she might not make it back.

War Commander Davion Thann-Eon is taking his first vacation in years. Dedicated to keeping the Eon Empire safe, he's been born and bred to protect. But when he's attacked and snatched off his very own warship, he is shocked to find himself face-to-face with a bold, tough little Terran warrior. One who both infuriates and intrigues him.

When their shuttle is attacked by the ravenous insectoid Kantos, Eve and Davion crash-land on the terrifying hunter planet known as Hunter7, designed to test a warrior to his limits. Now, the pair must work together to survive, caught between the planet and its dangers, the Kantos hunting them down, and their own incendiary attraction.

Bravo!

New to this author and I am impressed. The character development was great and the narration pulled me into the story without issue. I loved the whole Hunter 7 planet and what they had to go through. I loved the way he underestimated her and she kicked butt. Worth the credit.

first eon warrior book

I love Shaggy, so happy that Anna included him in the storyline as sidekick. Very good book, with very good narrators, love them. In some fights you just where listining to a movie. You could see how they fought. Yes Anna hackett, you did it again. It was a book with a tear, a laugh, and lots of other emotions. grtz Sidhaeg

Great new series start for me

I really loved bad azz Eve and war commander Dav. They really fought well together I like about the way the author details the fight scenes and the ditty banter.

Great Series Starter

Great world building. Filled with great imagery of alien worlds and creatures.

This is action packed, fast paced, and engaging.

Although, spoiler alert, both leads take turns dying or nearly dying more than once. A little over done.

There is romance and plenty of heat mixed in as well.

Eons and Eons and more Eons!

When you know Anna Hackett is the author of a book, you know it will be great, and "Edge of Eon" does not disappoint. The main characters grab your attention and endear themselves, before you've gotten half way through the first two pages. But the story wraps you up in all their trials and adventures that you can't put the book down...or stop the audio before the very last sentence.
Thank you Anna Hackett, and please continue with many more books of "Eon." I've already ordered the next two in line, and pray there will be book 4,5, and more. Love from your follower, Gabby Gibbs.

Kudos to this narrator!

Kudos to this narrator!
The male voice actually sounds like it is a male speaking. I had to look twice to see if I missed another name as a narrator because it sounds like a male and female team.
I really liked this story. I especially liked the changing environment on the planet they landed on. It added another layer of excitement to the book.
