It was 48 years ago John Hunter gave me this book of poetry for my 18th birthday. What fun looking at our outlook on life and love during those teen years. An emotional roller-coaster. The poems are a bit "dark." Such was the ups and downs of life and love at that age. Trying to remember how I felt back then is hard so many years later, but it has given me more empathy for today’s teen.
I hope others enjoy the short but bitter group of poems.
