The best quality audiobook I have heard to date!

Wow! wasn't expecting a full production! I'm a fan of the game but would recommend this book to anybody who enjoys good science fiction.

Love Elite but not too crazy about the narration.

Though I enjoy the Elite Dangerous universe, I found some of the stories hard to follow along with as the narrators choose to use similar voices for the different characters. I found myself lost on who was speaking, having to rewind and relisten to catch what was happening. I did enjoy the book overall though and plan to get others from the universe. 4/5 stars.

Don’t let bad reviews fool

There’s definitely a lot of unnecessary bad reviews for this. It’s very obvious lots of people tried and didn’t always succeed in nailing that Arthur C Clarke style of short story with a good story and great punctuating ending.
While some failed, there are definitely enough that nailed it to justify the listen or read. If “fan service” is your complaint, remember these are written by FANS, people who played Elite and got the kickstarter tier to write a short story. So of course they mention the fan favorite memes and lore bits, it’s THEIR favorite.
Easy recommend for Elite fans.

Nice effects, but a lot of missed editing.

I have played Elite and the sound effects bring back memories from the game. Voice acting is good. My issue is there are a lot of sound editing mistakes in each story/chapter. Words cut off or music cutting without fading.
