The intent of the author is genuine and positive.
I listened because my wife is an empath and I was hoping to better understand her struggle. I agreed with everything the author said. I wanted more insight into the challenges, the darker side. My wife, for example, has a hard time hearing when anything might be different than her perception. She does not have the clarity for her own reality that she has with strangers. I have compassion for her situation and the amount of information she deals with daily. However, being an empath doesn't mean you are never wrong or never misinterpret a situation that is subjective and not objective.
Also, the text could use some editing. I would love to be able to edit the text to improve on the grammar. I want to write a book one day and I was very inspired by this book. I am grateful the author took the time to share their insights and encouragement for empaths.
