Loved it!

This book taught me so much! it was well written, easy to understand, and right on time for the empty nest season as well as new grandparenting. hearing the prayers at the end of each chapter by audiobook was really moving. The voice that read the book was a little mechanical at times but all in all, a great find!

excellent book for empty nesters

The best book I've read about being a mom to adult children and an empty nest. Jill is so down to earth and does an excellent job of sharing her life and providing great insight of being a parent to adult children. I want to read this book again! The person who read the book sounded robotic, sort of like Siri, but the content of the book is fantastic!! Highly recommend it!

Great Information, Not a Fan of Narrator

This book contains a wealth of information for parents who find themselves at this stage of parenthood. I enjoyed hearing Jill’s wisdom and personal stories. My only issue was the narration. The style used in this reading reminded me of a slow reading of a greeting card and the sections where the author shared a second-party’s story was a little confusing as the narrator never changed inflection or tone. I sped the reading up a bit and it helped, but I share this in case anyone else might need to try a sample before purchasing.

Way too religious

The narration is painfully slow and the book is heavily anchored in religion. I wasn’t able to get past the first few minutes. Definitely not for me
