About this listen

Number one New York Times best-selling author David Baldacci returns with his most breathtaking thriller yet....

Will Robie and Jessica Reel are two of the most lethal people alive. They're the ones the government calls in when the utmost secrecy is required to take out those who plot violence and mass destruction against the United States. And through every mission, one man has always had their backs: their handler, code-named Blue Man.

But now, Blue Man is missing.

Last seen in rural Colorado, Blue Man had taken a rare vacation to go fly fishing in his hometown when he disappeared off the grid. With no communications since, the team can't help but fear the worst.

Sent to investigate, Robie and Reel arrive in the small town of Grand to discover that it has its own share of problems. A stagnant local economy and a woefully understaffed police force have made this small community a magnet for crime, drugs, and a growing number of militant fringe groups.

But lying in wait in Grand is an even more insidious and sweeping threat, one that may shake the very foundations of America. And when Robie and Reel find themselves up against an adversary with superior firepower and a home-court advantage, they'll be lucky if they make it out alive, with or without Blue Man....

A great who done it mystery

David Baldacci has tossed another Homerun. A great mix of romance, lies old world food guy/bads and current military technologies. Two of the best snipers are sent to Colorado to search of their missing boss. In their way are people with dubious loyalties. Brewer and Cassidy do an excellent job of voicing the story. 😝

8 chapters?! Really?!

I've loved this series. The added special effects really draw you in.

I will say I didn't care for the narrator of " Robie's" voice in the last book, but it wasn't terrible.

The story for End Game was excellent, but 8 chapters?! And they charge $20 for the book? Really?

I felt the author left a huge hole at the beginning of the book by mentioning something with Robie's dad, but then never completed the back story.

Orlagh Cassidy is excellent but kept changing "jessica's" accent, tone, etc. In each book. Frustrating.

All in all the series was excellent.

One good narrator, one not so much

Orlagh Cassidy is great as always, but Kyf Brewer is somewhat amateurish and overdramatic. Ron McClarty does Baldacci's books much better. Still, the story is a good one, and worth a listen.

great for leaving reality

This was not one of the best Will Robie books, but it was good. If you're needing a book to pull you in to escape reality this would be the one for you.
