Publisher's summary

Are the demons truly gone?
The gargoyles remain on watch.
And her friend remains trapped in an incubus-induced coma.

Fated mates caught in a battle between good and evil.

Larissa, a young police officer, is disturbed by psychic visions and demons - literal ones. She encountered the red-winged monsters during their rampage in Boston. The chaotic aftermath prevents rest any time soon. And a question remains unanswered - how was she able to combat demons using nothing but her hands?

Her new lover Roman, a gargoyle shifter, believes it's because she's she's a witch.

Ridiculous, right?

She's a cop, like her dad. But, normal cops don't shoot bolts of energy at demons.

When she glimpses another supernatural threat, Larissa struggles with the vision. Is it her imagination tormenting her? Or worse, another premonition?

Great 2nd Book

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Larissa is learning about herself and where she comes from, Roman right by her side. This book has a lot of action, mystery, suspense. Great continuation from book one. Great narration from Kieran Flitton and Bridget Bordeaux. On to book three!

Larissa and Roman's Story Continues

Drama, danger, suspense and surprising twists continue to swirl around Larissa and Roman. I love these characters and this unique shifter romance. Larissa now has even much more she is struggling to deal with as she worries about her bestfriend, the visions she has, her new powers that she doesn't understand and of course her attraction and growing feelings for Roman. Roman is everything you would expect and desire in a gargoyle shifter. He has his own issues as he tries to balance his position as leader of the Gargoyle Sentries, protecting humanity, stopping the demon threat and his attraction and feelings for Larissa. Engaging, enticing and entertaining, this book and series is a delight to read.

Gargoyles, Witches and Demons Oh My!

This is the continuing story for Larissa and Roman. Larissa has been put on probation at her job. Now she is trying to learn more about her witch side. Oh and her being a mate to Roman, a Gargoyle shifter.

This is the second in the trilogy. The story is good and kept my interest. We meet a few new characters. I did listen to this on audio. Kieran Flitton and Bridget Bordeaux did a Good job.

Larissa and Roman's Story Continues

This book starts where the first book in this series Tempted by the Gargoyle ended and to get the most from the storyline you really should listen to these books in order. Larissa and Roman’s story continues with more twist and turns as Larissa struggles with what she is and tries to help her friend Janie who lies close to death following an attack by a succubus.

Larissa has been suspended from the police force after what happened the night of the Blood Moon despite there being many witnesses the powers that be (Internal Affairs) do not believe her explanation of the events or her part in them. I'm not going to say any more about that in case you have not read or listened to Tempted. Whilst she's suspended she goes to visit her maternal grandmother to find out if she is a witch and to ask for help in learning more about the power she was able to wield against the demons to help Roman and his team save the city.

Roman and his team sense that there is still demon activity in the city, why are they still here, what do they want? But he can't give this problem his whole attention as he has to try and keep Larissa safe when dark magic threatens to break them apart forever.

This book is another exciting, action-packed episode in this exciting series which I am so enjoying, it's unusual and well written although I have to say that although Roman can do no wrong, I do find Larissa's attitude at times to be somewhat annoying but with all that' she has learned maybe I'm being too judgemental? That said I can't wait for the next part in this exciting story.

This book is once again narrated by the extremely talented duo of Kieran Flitton and Bridget Bordeaux, the way these two work together to bring all the characters to life is superb. Kieran gives each gargoyle a different inflexion/accent and at no time are you in any doubt about who is speaking, whilst Bridget conveys the stress and emotions Larissa is feeling.

I was given this audiobook as a gift and am voluntarily writing my review.

Entertaining!

Larissa and Roman’s forbidden romance continues where the first installment left off. The storyline is intricate, and entertaining, filled with danger. Looking forward to listen to Captivated by the Gargoyles, the last book in this captivating series. Kieran Flitton and Bridget Bordeaux did a fantastic job with the narration.

Cop & Gargoyle

Enticed by the Gargoyle is an excellent addition to the Boston's Stone Sentries series. With her incredible imagination and world-building, Lisa Carlisle captivates her readers/listeners. The characters are delightful, Larissa a cop meets Roman, a gargoyle shifter. The storyline is very entertaining and steamy; I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Superb dual performance by Kieran Flitton and Bridget Bordeaux. Both narrators do a splendid job with the characters' voices, and the chemistry, further engrossing the listeners. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Great Story!

I totally enjoyed this second story in the Stone Sentries series. Larissa still has a lot of issues to work through with her eye-opening revelation she’s a witch and is in love with a gargoyle shifter. Of special interest in this book is the explanation of why Larissa had no idea she was a witch. There are some heartbreaking events in this book that adds to the suspense of the threats caused by the demons. I am looking forward to the next book in the series as I hope it will include more about Janie and Roman’s second-in-command. The narration was great and appreciate there were two narrators—only I would have enjoyed their performance more if they truly spoke for each character instead of trading off in each the different chapters. action packed

Larissa was correct about one thing when she said she didn't deserve Roman! She didn't! He put up with a lot when the evil possessed her and she spewed het vitriol! And they lived to fight another day because the demon escaped!!!! The duet narration was fantastic! I voluntarily listened to this and am giving an honest review.
