Story
Follow the adventures of Zoey and her cat, Sassafras, with this collection of books one to six in the series. Each story features a new magical animal with a problem that must be solved using science. There isn’t a set formula for each book; Zoey sometimes needs to run experiments, while other times she needs to investigate a mystery, and yet other times she needs to do research. Zoey models how to keep a science journal through her handwritten entries in each story.

Storm is born into a world of secrets - an island no one visits, names no one will say, and deaths that no one will talk about. The answers are locked in his species' troubled past, guarded by the fierce creasia cats. But when Storm's friends are threatened, he decides that he must act, pitting himself against the creasia to show that they can be resisted and outwitted. To prove his point, he must stay one step ahead of clever hunters, who have more to lose than Storm imagines.

Story
Ivan is an easygoing gorilla. Living at the Exit 8 Big Top Mall and Video Arcade, he has grown accustomed to humans watching him through the glass walls of his domain. He rarely misses his life in the jungle. In fact, he hardly ever thinks about it at all. Instead, Ivan thinks about TV shows he's seen and about his friends Stella, an elderly elephant, and Bob, a stray dog. But mostly Ivan thinks about art and how to capture the taste of a mango or the sound of leaves with color and a well-placed line.

It's not her creepy English teacher Mr. Metos, who takes his mythology lessons just a little too seriously. And it's not the white-faced, yellow-eyed men in tuxedoes, who follow Charlotte everywhere. Story
Liesl lives in a tiny attic bedroom, locked away by her cruel stepmother. Her only friends are the shadows and the mice - until one night a ghost appears from the darkness. It is Po, who comes from the Other Side. Both Liesl and Po are lonely, but together they are less alone. That same night, an alchemist's apprentice, Will, bungles an important delivery. He accidentally switches a box containing the most powerful magic in the world with one containing something decidedly less remarkable. Will's mistake has tremendous consequences for Liesl and Po....

Monsters, aliens, ghosts, giant frogs, and a tragic angel are just some of the ingredients of this madcap adventure that is quite possibly Bruce Coville's strangest novel yet. Bruce himself appears on this recording as Gaspar Morley, head of a strange family of monsters that draw Anthony (our narrator) and his little sister Sarah into a galaxy - spanning adventure with the very souls of Earth's dead at stake.

Story
There came an elastic aftershock of creaks and groans and then, softly softly, a chinking shower of rubbled cement. Leaves calmed and trunks stood serene. Where, not a minute before, there had been a suburb, there was now only woodland standing amid ruins. There is no warning. No chance to prepare. They arrive in the night: thundering up through the ground, transforming streets and towns into shadowy forest. Buildings are destroyed.

Story
Squirrel is not like most dogs. Born a stray, she must make her own way in the world, facing busy highways, changing seasons, and humans both gentle and brutal. Her life story, in her own words, is marked by loss, but also by an inspiring instinct to survive. And when it seems she will roam the woods and country roads alone forever, Squirrel makes two friends who, in very different ways, define her fate.At once heartrending and hopeful, Ann Martin’s exquisite story of a dog’s life is told with her trademark grace and insight.

Story
Long before they were spirit animals, the four were still legends - Great Beasts, the most powerful beings to roam the wilds of Erdas. Aided by a brave resistance of humans and animals, they gave their lives to protect the world from a threat more dangerous than any it had seen before: their own kind. Wise and cunning, gentle and ruthless, these are tales of the true heroes and villains in the war that started it all.

A stunning modern-day fairy tale from acclaimed author Anne Ursu.... Once upon a time, Hazel and Jack were best friends. But that was before he stopped talking to her and disappeared into a forest with a mysterious woman made of ice. Now it's up to Hazel to go in after him. Great children’s horror
I know that sounds like an oxymoron, but children’s horror is a legitimate genre that is underserved. Think of Secret of NIMH or Coraline, where there is real danger for the characters, but no “adult” content. I’ve been reading the first two books to my kids since they were 3 or 4 and Rush Outfield continues to provide amazing voices to characters that I truly love. The additional 4 stories were also very good. I’m not sure they I love the final story, but I can appreciate how it was done to tie the series closed. All in all a great family story time book.

Incredible Series
This is the only venture into the children/young adult but it is incredible! The series opens with what should be mortal enemies that make a connection that develops into a life long love. This is not a love story though. They go on many adventures & complete their lifetimes together. This book is a favorite to my young kids & they have listened to it so many times it should be on repeat. It is so well written that they can still pick out bits that are new. This series will pull you in & not let you go!

A Collection of Fluffy Fairy Tales
This is a surprisingly pleasant collection of stories for young children. 8+ I would liken this set of stories to the writings of Neil Gaiman.
Cleaver, witty characters who’s bond of friendship sees them through their journeys.
I recommend this as a car ride audiobook or to children for bedtime listening.

Praise for Eve & Malachi
I absolutely adore this series. I listened to it with my kids and we all thought it was delightful. The characters are endearing and the story is entertaining. It's everything you want in a kids book and still enjoyable for adults.
As usual Rish Outfield does a wonderful job narrating. As a long time fan of his work and Abbie's writing this series had everything I've come to expect from these two.

Cute Story
Such a cute series with a bit of creep in there. For a younger audience but as an adult I still very much enjoyed the series.
Abigail is incredibly talented with bringing her characters alive, very likable and believable. Rish is an amazing narrator as well.

Magical!
A wonderful collection of stories of friendships and hardships, bravery and bravado and most of all stories of life and hope. I loved how each character lived true to themselves and yet found ways to be kind to others along the way.
