About this listen

Sailor is lost.

She's spent her whole life in the same town, going all the same places, with all the same people. She's dated one boy. One boy who grew into a man. And now, he wants to marry her.

Suddenly, Sailor can't help seeing, how easy it is to go astray...without ever going anywhere.

Therefore, the only way to find herself...is to leave.

Dante is mostly pissed. Most of the time.

And that feeling only increases when he stumbles onto a woman, stealing grapes right from the vine. His vine. On his vineyard.

Doesn't matter that she's lost. Or that she's beautiful. To make matters worse, she continues to stick around, despite his efforts to be properly pissed...with her.

And thus, their story begins.

Because that's the thing with happy ever afters.... They all start with an unlikely once upon a time.

The book didn’t keep me up all night having to finish the story, but it was cute and clean. It was a fun book to listen to!

As an avid reader (and listener) to the books of K.S.T. I will be honest, it was hard to stay connected to the audio version. Not because of the writing but mostly the narration. Stevi was overall a good performer however there were some things that were not as good.. the first thing that almost made me stop listening was when she miss pronounced the city of Moscow, Idaho. the city of MoscOW (As in I just hurt myself, ow) is the city in Russia.... the town in Idaho is Mosc-OH ( as in oh, that makes sense. )
The other thing that was difficult was when she talked for the 7yo at first I thought she was more 4 or 5ish.
That being said it was a good listen once I got used to the manner of the readers performance...

I would recommend this to others..

great read. slow at first then gets better.
