About this listen

Tori stared at the screen. "Wait, what? How long is three hundred and fifty-five hours?"

"It's about fifteen days, Tori," the commissioner sighed. "If we don't get the trinity back online within fifteen days—give or take—there won't be enough power capacity left to bring it back up, and the reactor will be past the point of no return. Without the reactor, this ship is going to get very cold, and everyone will freeze to death."

Desperate to get the surgery she needs, Tori transfers aboard the Sailor's Gambit I to catch a vigilante. But the situation quickly unravels, and our unlikely investigator discovers that a serial killer on the loose is the very least of her problems.

Gripping mystery with relatable sympathetic characters

From beginning all the way to the end I was on the edge of my seat. I can't recommend this book enough, just like with the first book in this series, Reaper's Lottery. Gre7g Luterman has a knack at hooking you into the main character and even many of the secondary characters and makes you really want them see their trials and tribulations through.

The narration by Piers Ryman was top notch as well. He's never disappointed in any of the books he's narrated. He does an incredible job bringing out the personalities of so many characters. I don't know how he does so many different accents and emotions, but no two characters sound alike.

Boots in the trash!

I really enjoyed this sequal, it didn't hit the same emotional and notes and pacing as the first, but it was still an entertaining read.

Gripping and Rewarding

This is without a doubt one the the best, if not THE best, story released from Gre7g to date. It's starts perfectly and continues with each chapter growing more engaging than the last. The story features some of the best hopelessness and triumph a good mystery novel can offer. As always, Piers Ryman delivers flawlessly. They bring the entire world to life to such a degree that I can tell who is speaking without ever having to hear a dialogue tag. Top marks all around. I would recommend this story to anybody with a taste for a good mysterious and awesome characters.
