About this listen

Look up the word "nerd" and you'll find Lily Bailey's picture. She's got one goal: first stop valedictorian, next stop Harvard. Until a stint in the hospital from too much stress lands her in the last place a klutz like her ever expected to be: salsa dance lessons.

Look up the word "popular" and you'll find Stone Torres's picture. His life seems perfect - star of the football team, small-town hero, lots of friends. But his family is struggling to make ends meet, so if pitching in at his mom's dance studio helps, he'll do it.

When Lily's dad offers Stone extra cash to volunteer as Lily's permanent dance partner, he can't refuse. But with each dip and turn, each moment her hand is in his, his side job starts to feel all too real. Lily shows Stone he's more than his impressive football stats, and he introduces her to a world outside of studying. But with the lines blurred, can their relationship survive the secret he's been hiding?

Fun and flirty, with serious heart!

This is such a sweet story. Definitely worth your times. Both of the narrators's voices take some getting used to, but it's worth it.

Barely Understand A Word

I love Amy Melissa Bentley, but I could understand a word the Stone voice actor was saying and it's not his fault but I think they could have tried to find a better fit for him.

It Gives 90's vibe

well that was enjoyable and it gave off a really classic feels of 90's movies romantic comedies
so the story is about Lily and Stone, Lily is over driven and that causes her to have panic attacks, and Stone is the son of a dance teacher and their studio is struggling .. so in order to save his family Stone agrees to a deal from Lily's father, teach her how to dance and he will save the studio, but their relationship takes a deeper curve
I liked this book, it's light and had some drama in it but enough to keep you engaged in the story, also LOVED how romantic Stone is, and his sister is so adorable :)

The narrators were very nice and I liked their performance

narration was tough to listen to

the story was ok, the male narration sounded like Forrest Gump. It was hard to listen to someone that sounded like that trying to sound southern 🤔 not worth a credit or price to me. story is teen romance, just ok

The male narrator! :(

I’m sorry, I will have to read the book if I really want to finish this story because the male narrator is clearly Australian or English or something else and trying to put on some sort of southern accent which is COMPLETELY TERRIBLE. I mean truly, whoever chose this person for this story clearly hadn’t listen to the recording. Either pick someone else, or allow him to speak in his native tongue. Cause this? Awful. And I don’t mean to sound ugly. I just cannot listen to this.

Sweet story…Struggle bus southern accents

The story is nice, but I think I’d prefer the book more than the audio book. I’m from the south, and the accents in this were kinda offensive at times. The leading males accent was so difficult to listen to(think Forest Gump) that I did not finish audiobook.
