Publisher's summary

Discover how to stop struggling and find fulfilment, joy and inspiration by saying F**k It to the stress, problems and chaos in your life.

The international bestseller that sparked the F**k It revolution!

Like a magical modern mantra, saying F**k It can transform your life. It's the perfect Western expression of the Eastern spiritual ideas of letting go, giving up and finding real freedom by realizing that things don't matter so much (if at all).

It's the very power of this profanity that makes it perfect for shaking us out of the stress and anxiety that dominate our meaning-full lives. It's a reminder to stop listening to other people and start listening to ourselves, to take that leap and to unlock freedom and happiness by saying these two magic words to all the problems and chaos of life.

In this revised and updated edition, with brand-new chapters and insightful perspectives on the world we find ourselves in today, John C. Parkin shares humorous personal anecdotes, authentic advice and essential F**k It techniques alongside exploring a whole host of worries and stresses to which we can to say, F**k It!

A nice update to the book

This is the updated and revised edition of the book and it was good for the most part. I enjoyed learning more of what was happening in the author's life. However, for the most part other than the meditations there wasn’t anything new here. Just learn to say ‘F**k It’ and let go is what you’ll learn here.

Great book!

This overall is a great book.
The only thing that annoyed me about it was that the author expressed his liberal views on COVID and upon religious views of death.

He should've kept those opinions to himself.
While hearing those chapters, the thought crossed my mind to return this book in exchange for another. It's 90% great ideas and content, overrode the decision to keep it and listen to it again sometime down the road.

Politics ruins everything

Helpful, funny, and shocking book. But has a Mr. Hyde hand-wringing section on COVID and climate change. That part is a depressing slog - and the pandemic pontificating really needs an update.

Easy read

Short book and easy listening. I found it a little boring overall but still listened to the end.
