I love this series!
With each book, it keeps getting better and better. I was so involved for the last 2 hours of this book that life went on around me and I was able to completely ignore everyone and everything. I can’t wait for the next.

I'm Impressed
4th book in series. I suspect it's hard to continue to develop a story line without it becoming fragmented, burdened by too much background or, to compensate, moving so fast that the story ends up with glaring holes that detract.
This magnificent book fills in additional, needed background while still solidly further developing the central character and keeping the reader (me) very invested in the direction of the story itself.
A great read and an excellent, nuanced narration.

Brilliant!!
I can’t get over how brilliant of a writer T.A White is. Where does she come up with it all!? I love this story and the characters so much. I wish I could write a better review with all the technical writing terms and what not but all I can tell you is it works. I’m amazed at how thorough this entire series is. Every character could have their own book at how defined their voices are. I am an avid reader and White consistently has me gasping with revelations I just did not see coming. This book does not disappoint. Make sure you have some tissues with you! This one had me laughing and crying.
The narrator was fine but I do have to speed it up. Other wise the pace is just so slow to be natural and you feel like you’re trying to pull the story out. You really have to pay attention to the names of who is speaking because several characters are given the same voice. Or sometimes a character will switch between a male voice and female voice. I do love the voice of Jin and it’s easily set apart. Narrator also does well with inflections. This is one series that would be amazing as one of Audible’s dramatic readings.

All the Feels
You want drama? Romance? Bravery? Family? Tears? Then this book is for you. Each book has gotten better and better. The plot(s) moves forward in major ways, several hints from earlier in the series get fleshed out, and we learn more about the world they live in.
I can’t believe the cliff hanger!!! Please don’t take too long on the next book; my imagination can’t take the wait.

Listen on speed
The storyline continues nicely along the series but was somewhat slow paced with too much inane chatter .
Author read really slowly so I listened on a faster speed which made it tolerable.. sadly I didn’t realize I could speed it up till it was almost done and I was ready to quit.
Author has to stop making monologues and excess descriptions and characters ruminating about life during important scenes.
There’s a place and time but when the bomb is ticking and there’s four seconds left. Not the time! And then the author takes five minutes to discuss random stuff literally in the middle of serious action.
