About this listen

Scorned by her family.

Banished by her kind.

Hunted by zealots.

Where does an exiled Fairy Queen hide?

A remote mountain cabin, the seedy underbelly of a metropolis, or an uninhabited island. All would be good choices; however, after hundreds of years on the run, the daughter of Oberon, King of the Wild Fairies, signs a binding contract with the zealots that hunt her. In exchange, they allow her to settle down in the last place anyone would look for fairy royalty.

Adopting the name Grace Ann Bryant, the Queen buys a double-wide and moves into a trailer park in the one-horse town of Shady Grove, Alabama. Her contract requires her to lend aid to the local sheriff, Dylan Riggs, when supernatural problems arise.

But when two children go missing, the humans point to the trailer park queen helping the sheriff, and the zealots point at the exiled fairy. Grace must decide whether to fight for her innocence or break her contract returning to life on the run.

Bless Your Heart is a Southern Urban Fantasy that will make you laugh, cry, and laugh until you cry, as Grace wrestles with the dark fairy inside herself and starts to see that she’s more than just trailer trash.

This box set contains books 1 through 3: Bless Your Heart, Tinsel in a Tangle, and Snake in the Grass, plus a preview of Book 4, Comin' Up a Cloud.

Fun series

I found the series surprising. It was not what I expected. The narrator does an excellent job. Her accent for the main character fits. The pacing fits the book. Overall the series was fun and surprising. I held off on reading this based on the title and although the trailer park aspect seems a little gimmicky it does not overtake the series. This series has a unique world and interesting characters. There is snark, humor, romance and mystery. I would put it in the urban fantasy genre with an overall continuing story arc that does not resolve from book to book. Good value for a credit. The books are part of KU. So I was able to switch between listening and reading. The series is complete with 15 books. I plan to continue the series.

This is the fist 3 book of a 15 book series

This is the fist 3 book of a 15 book series. Unfortunately, the rest of the books aren't on audible. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked these 3 books and wish the rest were available.

A very enjoyable series!

After listening to all three books, I really want the next ones! Enjoyable series that mixes faerie and mundane together in a way that's funny, interesting, and serious, all mixed together.

Entertaining

It was a fun listen. Romance but very little spice. But I enjoyed the plot and all the characters despite that. Will cont the story I think.
Love the female narrator and the voice she gave to the FMC. The male narrator is only towards the end but he is great as well.

Fun listen

I bought this a while back, got through book one and stopped listening. Not sure why. I picked it up again and listened to all three books. Adding in a male narrator was quite amusing and I enjoyed the second voice

Can’t put it down

The characters in this book are real and relatable. Grace may swear like a sailor but she’s determined. Her flaws are what make her relatable. These books are well written. I just wish the complete series was available on Audible. But they are so good I will probably read them in text all the ones I can’t get here!
