This was a painful read , I was literally cringing whenever the h heroine said anything, she was so pathetic, she sounded like someone with that needs to be monitored 24 hours a day so she doesn’t hurt herself, and why is Leo the beast of bishops landing he’s whiney and just sad , and don’t get me started on Haley’s inner monologue where she as to give a blow by blow of how beautiful Leo is , this was a hard read that’s all I’m saying

The story would’ve been good, also the adaptation to BandtB is pretty good … BUT… the girl is immensely useless, her thoughts are not consistent with what’s happening, she is incapable to act accordingly to the situation. I’ve read all three installments in this series and it’s not worth it. Leo Morelli deserved a better partner in the Midnight Dynasty world. *SPOILER ALERT*
The book is at least good to let us know part of why Constantine’s and Morelli’s are eternally at war. Caroline is a bit$@#… Leo is in permanent pain because of her.
I understand that part of the sexual/love connection between the MCs is that she is so incredibly helpless, naïve, … How does she get dressed alone?!?! She is way too helpless to have any redeeming quantities to be liked.
