A cryptic note leads the Blackmoore sisters to a haunted island in the Atlantic Ocean. I love Leighann Dobbs books and characters but Celeste grated on my nerves in this one with her whining and poor me attitude. The story was wonderful and well written. Celeste (in this book only) was the fly in the ointment. Can't wait for the next book!

I am sorry to say that this book was a disappointment. It didn't add anything new to the series and the characters seem suddenly one dimensional. Overall it was just boring. The whole plot / mystery can be figured in the first chapter. I had been looking forward to this 8th book in the Blackmoore Sisters Mystery series, but I had a hard time finishing it. I put it down several times.
