Another Fun Entry To The Life Of Ferius Parfax

I initially expected the backstory of Ferius Parfax to be one book. What a pleasure it is that it has now extended to a third book in a series. I also never expected Ferius's travels on the road to becoming an Argosi to turn out to be among my favorite storylines from author Sebastien de Castell. He takes this series in a bit of a darker theme than his other works, while also managing to retain his usual sense of humor and adventure, making this one of his most unique and enjoyable series.

Fate of the Argosi continues to follow Ferius as she attempts to find herself and her path, while also doing her best to save her people, The Mahdek, from extinction.

Overall, another very good addition to the Spellslinger/Argosi book series. The narration from Kristin Atherton was great and enhanced the story. Not sure if book three is the last in the Ferius Parfax series. The book does wrap up pretty well the plots of this book, but leaves enough open for possible future books. I've already got two more than expected, so I'm happy either way.

Unique fantasy

I love the characters especially the animal companions. Compelling plot with interesting twists. The settings and atmosphere are rich and colorful even when they are black. The writing and dialogue are charming.
