About this listen

Can one fallen angel redeem the deadly sins?

Cast down from heaven years ago, I’ve been waiting for my chance to go home, desperate to return to the light. But when that chance finally comes, there are strings attached.

Seven of them.

According to my angelic superiors, the only way I can earn redemption for myself is by redeeming the seven incarnations of sin.

Distractingly gorgeous and overwhelmingly powerful, these men throw me completely off balance.

I thought I could handle this assignment, but when a demonic portal appears in the middle of Manhattan, I suddenly need their help for an entirely new reason.

Now, we’re stuck together in a race against an unknown enemy. And with every day that passes, the darkness in them calls to the light in me.

Tempting me.

Taunting me.

Testing me.

Will I redeem them? Or will I be the one corrupted?

Feathers and Fate is a reverse harem paranormal romance series featuring a feisty angel and seven delicious, devilish men.

The female narrator was a little stilted in her performance. Great enunciation but still too stiff for lack of a better word.

Not the best female narrator

I really enjoyed these books. The FMC's dialogue did get on my nerves sometimes but it wasn't a major detraction from the books. I do wish the final epilogue was longer though. :-(

Really Good

What kept confusing me was the accent, legit sounds like she’s Latina. The male narrator was okay did a good job at the different male voices. Only jarring when he switched to her voice or another female voice because you have to set your mind on how she speaks.

The story itself was nice, spice was great and not at all over doing it. Once the relationships started mfc did not suddenly become weak. She did grow and it seemed like the guys though slow did as well. So double thumbs up for character growth on the guys part. Most rh do not do this.

It was amusing

In a reverse harem with this many men, the characters often blur, but the author did a good job keeping the men and the relationships that the main character had with each distinct and personal. The fact that the men each had a particular Sin as their identifying character probably helped with that. My biggest complaint was with the male narrator's handling of female voices. It was absolutely horrifying how he made the women all sound like whining, shrill goblins. The female narrator did a great job though, and fortunately she handled the majority of the book's narration.

Female narrator was great, the male...not so much.

One of the reasons I chose this book was because of the artistry it was so fun having a African-American paranormal lead character. I love the storyline I love the characters! I wish night would’ve been able to talk!

Really enjoyed!

Only listened to first book so far.
Male actor: does a good job with the four male character introduced for him so far.
Female actor: does a decent job with differentiating voices. Only complaint for her is she pronounces a handful of words weirdly.
Story: with seven men, I was worried it would turn into s*x with some story, but the first book atleast is not like that (only four men introduced so far). My opinion could change in the second book when the author brings the last three males into the story.

Will update as finished.

First book ok, two more to listen too.

I truly have no huge complaints about the story. I didn't love any of the characters, but I liked them well enough, and the author was great about keeping their traits consistent. (Which is actually more rare than you'd expect, in my experience)
The narration though.... it was pretty bad. The female narrator - terrible! She stumbled through the English language like it was her first time speaking. The word "feral" was mispronounced MULTIPLE(3+) times as "Pharrell" as in Pharrell Williams. Oh, and "subtlety" as bubble-tea with an 's'.
It really bothered me through the first book, but then I was able to talk my brain into believing that it was a purposeful affectation used to give the FMC more depth. Yeah, right. But it worked. If these types of things get under your skin, definitely skip this one!

Good story.

Good book, the only negative was the male narrator when he did the female voice. He made her sound very whiny and pathetic. It was like nails on a chalkboard. She wasn't like that so it kinda threw the whole feel for the scene. luckily there are only a few of those in the whole series.

Great series

I love this book series! It’s a great story about an angel and the seven sins. I also love the author. It took some time to get used to the female narrator and there is a cringeworthy moment the male narrator tried to imitate a high pitched feminine voice, but it is still very good. I wish there were more group sex scenes and bonus scenes after the series ended. I would love to read about Trinity and her men years later. I think the author did a fantastic job with the character development and storyline.

Love the book series!
