About this listen

I never wanted a mate. Until I was put in chains. Strapped down. And claimed.

I always believed I could analyze any situation until I found a solution. Solve any problem if I just applied my brain.

I went to university, studied science and told myself my academic cocoon would protect me from the alphas dominating our society.

I was wrong.

No textbook prepared me for my meeting with test subject 351. The biggest, scariest alpha on death row, hauled into my lab to uncover how to control the beast of a man. How to make him submit. Mold him into a weapon.

But there is no controlling the feral alpha, and no logic strong enough to save my mind once he unleashes his fury on my body.

Once he claims me.

Feral is the second book in Nora Ash’s suspense-filled Omegaverse series, Alpha Ties. Each book is a full-length novel with a complete romance storyline. This series gets dark, and it gets dirty. If you don’t enjoy your romance scorching and your alphas rough and dominant, give this book a pass.

Please note: This book is the compiled version of Nora's previously published Omegaverse serial, Feral. It contains the installments Feral: Obsession, Feral: Despair, and Feral: Torment.

This was a great love story but also sad. Lillian and Zach connection was great.

Best series I've read this year. Individual HEA, lots of 🔥 primal sex, mystery, suspense! I am getting book 3 now. I just can't wait

🔥 dual narration made 5 star book even better!

Even though this book is fiction, it really makes one ponder about what goes on with government and privately owned independent contractors or even non government contractors. The experiments that our being conducted in Nader our noises; and the scary thing is who do you report unsavory things like this to when it’s your own government. This book was thought-provoking. Narrators did a great job with characters.

Terrifying and frightening

I chose to listen to this audiobook because it kept coming up on my social media. I listened to samples of it and with Jason Clarke’s voice and the bit of story it revealed, I had to hear the whole thing. My normal listening is rom-com and bubble gum type HEA’s. Even though there were uncomfortable scenes, I felt they needed to be there to convey how immorally wrong the whole situation was. Overall I found it engaging and a roller coaster ride of emotions.

Not my normal book.

Omegaverse is not my typical trope, but I couldn't resist Jason Clarke. This is a dark-dark omegaverse world with definite dub-con and non-con. It was heartbreaking in that it was absolutely believable that this would happen and some humans would set aside their humanity for selfish reasons. Performances are definitely 5 star. I would say story and overall 4-4.5 stars. If you are good with the dark dirty world this is an exciting story of survival and the human spirit.

Omegaverse Alpha romance - biology versus humanity

Really interesting storyline I must say. I was hooked on every word. The concepts were very interesting. The narration was almost 5 star. Jason Clarke is always five star but the female narrator could not do a male voice and so all of her male voices sounded like women and it was really Frustrating. I would’ve been perfectly happy with Jason Clarke reading this entire book because he does an amazing female voice. All in all I love the book it was really hot and intense.

Oh my word!

A heartbreaking start. I was expecting a dark, slightly paranormal story, which it was, but I wasn't ready for how much the story got to me. As things progressed, I was also not ready for everything that happened throughout the middle of the book. I had thought that the beginning was bad, but this part was full of trauma and despair. I didn't love this bit as much as the beginning, but it was still good. There were points where I thought I might quit if their situation got any worse. Worse it did get, however I just had to keep going. A bit of redemption came with the last third or so, but I was still a bit let down by everything that happened after the beginning. With such a promising start to the series, I was expecting something...more? But I would still be interested in reading the other book in this world though

3.5 Stars

Anyone that knows me, know that I am Narrator Driven so, I came into this for Jason Clarke and Nora Ash tricked me into listening to a good story. LoL.
I have never listened to an omegaverse and I was pleasantly surprised.
I will not retell the story but I will tell you that Nora posts a warning in the synopsis that this book is not for the feint of heart. Believe her.
There were a few things that I didn't love but I don't believe in perfection.

SOLID 4.5 stars
