About this listen

Five possessive gods and the end of mankind. That's my fate.

I always thought the end of the world was a myth. But then, I also thought Norse gods were make-believe too.

They're not.

Five of them are coming for me. They claim I will only survive if I surrender to them, body and soul. But they don't realize it's about so much more than carnal servitude. I am so much more than they could ever suspect. So much more than even I knew.

I am the only one who can stop Ragnarök from covering the world in ice and darkness. The only one who can save gods and men alike from annihilation. And in the shadows lurks betrayal so deep it will change the fate of the world....

Contains mature themes.

The narrator was great and the story was interesting. But I would have preferred a warning about rape in the story. Just a warning about Adult content is not the same thing. It could be very traumatic for anyone who was raped to come across this book and see the message that its okay because her body reacted like she wanted it when she clearly didn't.

would have good except for the Rapes

This story seemed really promising. The first couple of hours was amazingly hot. Then all the sudden the story became boring. I did not care for the whole going through portals and finding safety. I feel like it dragged out. Story also left on a cliffhanher and book 2 is not available.

Amazing plot, the female could get annoying but her character developed, all characters had great background & development w/o getting boring. Definitely reading book 2. Also OMG the sex scenes!

I love that the Alphas were true alphas in this RH

So much misogyny and it keeps getting worse. Not sure I can finish this if the story doesn’t take a turn soon.

Hard to Listen To

It had good narration. The story was a little weak. The cliffhanger ending leaves me questioning if I want the next book or not.

it's okay

I really dislike it when the MC got whiny. She is was suppose to be so big & bad but ended up acting like a child. Very irritating.

This is a great book but beware there is a huge cliffhanger at the end.

Great book but....

I have never read a book centered around the children of the Norse Gods. A little rough at the start but picks up quite nicely. On to the next one.

Norse mythology with a twist

I love the narration but I hate how the story plays out it makes me mad at some of the characters over all not bad. just wish some of the male characters get there head out of there a**.

it's a love hate relationship.

I read some reviews that warned of dubcon, and yeah.. this is noncon. the type of "alpha" mentality is disgusting and despite pressing on through the grand majority of the book, I never saw it being refuted.

I tried to make it to a point where our heroine showed some true spine or the alphas stopped being such masogonistic creeps, but it was just too boring and I had far too little hope for improvement.

boring and a more than a bit disturbing.
