Loved the story except it wasn’t about Pastor Caine. I believe they attached the wrong narration to the book. Pastor Caine doesn’t show up to the last chapter as his story will be continued. Disappointed it was the story describe in the summary. Wrote Audible and have not received a response. Amazon response within 24 hours. The author wrote a great story.

I really liked the storyline and characters, but the narrator wasn't good with the characters voices. This story could have been pleasurable if it had the right narrator. I would consider another book in this series if it had a different narrator.

The foundation is laid brick by brick, it's the beginning of a serial. My 1st time ever listening to this author and she has sparked my curiosity with each character. The concerns of each character are deep and sometimes diabolical. Secrets, lies, love, betrayal, sprinkled joyful events under covered with "what satan made bad, God turned it out for good. Christian undertones throughout the story.

I was reluctant to listen to the book because the narrator. He did a horrible job on the book "Stepping Down" years ago, however he gets a passing grade on this one.
