About this listen

All Amelia has been told about the missing four years of her life is that her husband Carl found her after the car accident that killed her father, and they lived in the city together before moving to the suburbs. She has no reason to question his story, but she knows Carl, and she can tell he’s holding something back. When he cries out in his sleep for Emily, she suspects he had an affair during her missing time and is trying to hide it from her. When flashes of memories begin to return, Amelia knows she can’t sit back any longer. But once she opens the floodgates, the truth is more twisted than she ever could have imagined.

I enjoyed every minute. Jennifer is a great narrator. I would read it again.

Boring and insipid

Tired of characters immediately. Especially Amelia.
Hysterical and paranoid got old really fast. No more

Finding another book

This is really really awful. Gross and unnecessary, nothing redeeming or worthwhile in this book. The identity of the other woman is obvious from the beginning. Hmmm...my name is Amelia and my husband is crying out the totally dissimilar name "Emily" in his dreams...hmmm, and then he tells me "Emily doesn't exist"....hmmm, really? Total, mind-numbing waste of time. I feel dumber now than I was when I started listening to this.

⭐️ 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sorry, I don’t like to write bad reviews, but this book did not do it for me at all. There is a subject matter that can be a trigger warning for some people, not for me. I just didn’t like how the story unraveled. Characters (all) definitely should be more developed. Sorry😔
