Booker Robinson is the man she didn't trust, the man she'd left behind in Dundee…and the first person she sees when she comes back. But despite Booker's notorious past, he now has a successful business and a home of his own.

I had forgotten having previously read both books

I mostly enjoyed Brenda Novak’s book, although I had forgotten how cruel many of the secondary characters were and how unbelievably forgiving the main characters were portrayed. The narration was very well done. I had also forgotten how over-the-top Brenda Jackson’s alpha males could be in their I’m gonna have you no matter what you say style of “romance.” I am not a big fan of Ron Butler, but he’s okay. Overall I gave it a four, but would not be interested in listening to either book again.

I liked that there were two books in one audio version. Both were good stories.

Definately a Love Story

I loved the stories, and the characters were everything. I really enjoyed the performance especially when it went to the male characters and turned to that sexy, seduction voice. I got a real tickle out of the narrators; they were really good. This is a great read.

Second book not so good!

I enjoyed Brenda Novak’s book but I realized that I have listened to it before, the second book not so much and can’t get a refund.
