Publisher's summary

Heather Bailey has been in charge of Silver Arches, the prestigious London shopping center, for several years. Financial turmoil brings a new investor to secure the future, and Heather finds herself playing office politics with the notoriously difficult entrepreneur Leo Flynn.

Walking a fine line between standing her ground and being willing to accept change, Heather has her work cut out for her. When Leo demands that his daughter get a job at Silver Arches, things become even harder.

Scarlett Flynn has never fit in. Not in the army, not in her father’s firm, not even in her own family. So starting work at Silver Arches won’t be any different, will it?

I really enjoyed this audiobook!

The author did an excellent job describing the challenges and joys of navigating a relationship with someone with Autism. As a parent of a child on the spectrum my heart went out to Scarlet and her dad. I loved how Heather was able to accept Scarlet and not try to “fix” her. The narration was also great! A sweet and touching love story and in some ways much more.

I loved it

I didn’t think I would, but I did. It is a slow yet fast story, it is important because it brings out autism. Narration is excellent.

Best writer and great narrator!!

Amanda radley is my absolute favorite writer! I have been waiting for this book’s audiobook!
I enjoyed the audiobook! This narrator is new for me and still I enjoyed it very much! However, I prefer Amy putt as the narrator for Amanda Radleys book. She reflects the rumors perfectly!
Anyway I enjoyed it!

Intense, but light and funny at the same time

It took a long time to get going, but I loved this book. I had trouble putting it down. It was such a sweet story, but deep. The writing was good, but not error-free, although the errors weren't intrusive at all. I really liked the main characters and their relationship. Scarlett was different, but was handled very well. I just couldn't understand why her uniqueness wasn't dealt with much sooner, by someone! I did want more of an ending. I don't need sex scenes, but a little more romance would have been nice, and more about what the future holds for them. And I did want more backstory about Scarlett's life and relationships, especially Ronan and Audrey. This book was light and funny, and intense at the same time.
In addition to the ebook, I listed to the audiobook. It was excellent! The narrator was really good at all the accents, and that really made the characters come alive. If you only buy one audiobook, just make it this one!

Short and Sweet

I thoroughly enjoyed the narration and storytelling! I wish it could have been just a bit longer, but still a great listen!

Amazing

The story represented autistic person very well. Not all autistic people are the same, and the characters referred to it more than once, which I really appreciate.
I don't know how not-autistic people would feel about Scarlet, but I loved getting to know her. She is amazing, Heather is very nice and caring, and the supporting characters were all interesting and funny.
The writing is great and I would like to know how Amanda Radley managed to write an autistic character with so much understanding and compassion.
