About this listen

Lenore Statham, the runner for the Flotilla Project, had been at her lowest when as he was found by Angie Wells and Paya Doshi and brought into the fold.

She learned how to be strong again and break the shackles her old life had hobbled her with.

While Paya is out making waves in London, Lenore is assigned as the driver for the contractor, McGrath, who is renovating a building for the Flotilla, which will allow people who had fallen upon hard times to have a place to call their own.

The problem? Lenore finds McGrath to be the most infuriating, cocky, and egotistical woman on the planet. They mix like oil and water, and Lenore wants nothing more than to throw a match on the mixture and be done with the woman.

She just can’t figure out what it is that boils her blood around McGrath, though apparently, all of her smug and smiling friends have an inkling....

The Flotilla series is a spin-off of the best-selling London Harmony series.

Excellent audio!

I loved Making Waves. This is a spin off of the London Harmony series. Sort of like a cousin. The Flotilla is renovating a building. So you have new characters from the building trades mixing in with some of your old favorite characters. Great story. Great characters. Excellently narrated by Claire Buchignani.

Found family

A sweet story about surviving abuse, enemy to lovers and found family . All while helping the less fortunate. This is a great YA book as the sex scenes are very Luke warm but heart warming. Don’t miss this one .

Making housing using recondition large boat in

Making housing using recondition boat in London. Feeding the Hungry. These are waves Flotilla is making. And believe or not there are jerks in the world who want her stopped. Still it's got to be done, too many of the down and out, and not all of them are permanently down and out many just need a hand now to get back in the game, they are hard workers, want to be hard tax paying people which most don't get, they want to take pride in their country or country of choice. It's getting over the hump in life now, be it new country, domestic violence, divorce, just out of foster care, and 1000's other reason one gets down on ones luck, from too many medical bill, to getting kicked out for being gay. The reasons don't matter as much as what you do about them after. If you just cry to God and ask "Why me?" When you get to heaven he is going to tell you, Well Charlie I sent Flotilla, then Jill, then James, then etc, etc and you just keep praying "Why me?"
Ok, back to the review- It was an excellent book, with lots of adventure, How do get this to that, and bad guys, Good Friends to help out. Some clever planning. Carol Keene would love this book.

Lovely

This was a amazing to listen to something different yet fitting for the start of flotilla. Ms. Claire did an amazing job nailing how the characters would be and how they speak that it almost sounds like a movie to me. There are some tiny things that can be improved like how the men would speak but I can’t really hold that against this because the rest were fine. Give this a good listen while you drive or do some cleaning then you’re all set!
