About this listen

If you've ever seen your teenage crush 10 years later, and he turns out to be a complete jerk, then you know how Molly Ward feels.

The last time she saw Noah Griffin was the regrettable day that she decided to climb into his bedroom window and turn her unrequited crush into something more.

That day was bad enough, but things are about to get worse.

Noah has become one of the best football players in the country, and he's just landed on Molly's front step.

As a new addition to the Washington Wolves roster, Noah's presence is the key to Molly's promotion in the front office. The problem is Noah wants nothing to do with Molly, and his surly attitude is making her job very difficult.

But he's got another thing coming if he thinks Molly will be intimidated by one grumpy football player, no matter how much he hates being around her.

Once these two go head to head, their mutual dislike explodes into undeniable chemistry. But with what they have at stake, they just might detonate everything else along with it.

Good start to a spin-off series

I really enjoyed the Washington Wolves series by Karla Sorensen, so I was excited to see a spin-off series about the Ward sisters. I read the book as soon as it was released and the audiobook as well.

Molly had a crush on Noah when she was in high school and he was in college. Things did not go well due to their age difference. Fast forward to ten years later. Age is no longer an issue, but both of them have changed. Noah went from the life of the party to closed off, a machine focused only on football. Molly’s joy and love of life help Noah open up. Besides the romance there are some fun interactions with family and friends. Highly recommend!

Great story, okay production.

Em Eldridge sounds like a robot on this narration. She is better on other productions. Other than that, story was fantastic!

Found a new author 🥰🥰

What would you do if the promotion you dreamed of depended on the man you were desperately in love with at the age of 16? who is currently one of the most outstanding and talented football players in the United States, Noah Griffin.
Sounds amazing right? Wait, did you read everything?
*Insanely embarrassing past story that almost ended Noah's career at the beginning and ended in an embarrassing explosion for God's sake.
**She hasn't heard from Noah for about 7 years.
***She will have to be close to Noah throughout the project.
Well... What about now?🤣

But Molly rises above this whole super embarrassing situation, she decides to prove to her new boss that she got her chair on her own merits! She busted her @$$ for it and didn't got it because of her brother's name.
And Noah is also keen to put the whole embarrassing moment behind him, especially as he now plays for Molly's brother's team.

The book was built slowly and gradually, which made me fall in love with the characters and by the end of the book I was addicted and wanted to read more and more. (How lucky am I that there are 3 more books in the series huh? 😂😍)

I wanted to rip Molly's boss from the first moment to the last moment in the book🤬
I loved that Noah aka "the machine" showed more sides to him, this whole project was super beautiful!
I loved the beautiful gesture in the book (I won't spill so you'll have to read and fall in love yourself) it was one of the most beautiful gestures I've read 😍
I can only say that my heart is completely melting
It's like the password to my heart is 1234 and Noah Griffin locked himself there💗

"sometimes, the best things in life come straight from your blind side."
I liked the style very much, different and special, unlike any book I've read.
I enjoyed it very much and highly recommend it 💗💗💗💗

A great Follow up story to The Marriage Effect

So if you’re a fan of “Effect” series by the same author this book is for the fans. I loved the Marriage Effect and was excited to see where the Ward sisters ended up and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Paige and Logan in this book. We are introduced to Noah and Molly in the Marriage Effect, so I was looking forward to follow up of their brief encounter. A rather drawn out on the HEA but the author created a feel good story. Pretty mild on the physical scenes and you get glimpse into the next book of the series. Wasn’t a huge fan of the female narrator, rather flat.
