About this listen

I met Thad Mitchell for the first time when I was just a child. I didn’t remember much about him - except that he pushed me off a swing set when I was four years old and broke my arm. Not the best thing to remember about a person, but there it is.

He moved away a couple years later and soon became a distant memory. That is until I walked into my parents' house after being gone for four years to find him sitting at the kitchen table with my family like he’d been there all along. The second his blue eyes found mine it was instant - the attraction, the spark, the zing, as some people call it. In that moment my entire world shifted. Every second, every minute that followed became a whirlwind.

Thad didn’t just turn my life upside down; he ripped through it - an unstoppable force of nature that wouldn’t be satisfied until there wasn’t a single facet of my life left unturned. And yet somehow at the end of it all he was still the only thing I wanted.

Haunted by a past he can’t escape - the only question that remains is can I find a way to calm the storm that rages inside of him, or will I end up just another causality in his unrelenting path of destruction?

Force of Nature is a complete stand-alone.

Story will hook you

I enjoyed this story about two flawed characters finding love. This story has angst that will pull at your heart. The narration was not totally my cup of tea. I increased the speed and that helped some. I just could not connect the voice with the characters. However, the story made up for the narration and kept me listening.

Laken and Thad!

Laken left her small town roots behind her and moved to LA to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. Once she got there she realized it would be much harder than she thought as she is just one of many that have the same plans. Four years later she ends up returning to her family and the farm.

Thad has a dark and troubled past which has made him moody and closed off. He is working at her parent’s farm and from the moment he meets Laken they have an instant chemistry.

He believes that she deserves someone much better than him which led to a lot of on again/off again relationship. Will Laken be able to help Thad heal and leave his demons in the past?

Full of drama and angst it takes you on an emotional ride as Lake and Thad struggle to find their happy ever after. I thought the narrator did a great job of bringing the story to life.

Great storyline

Thad and Laken have known each other since childhood. Laken one memory is when Thad broke her arm. Many years later, they meet again and the sparks begin to fly!

Read the wonderful story of passion and compassion as they try to find their way back to each other after fighting personal demons

Good Solid Romance ♡

I totally enjoyed this one. I think the quiet and mysterious Thad stole my heart the minute he was spotted by Laken sitting among her family's table. And at first Laken seemed a total Bitch but I grew to like her too. Eventually we get to understand the past issues that Thad is successfully dealing with and realize that Laken’s career goals are actually well founded.
It’s a story of how two people with 180 degree lives find their HEA.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. My review is HONEST.

Two Thumbs Up!

This Man is a Pure F-5 Tornado...

...hold on to all personal items and keep your arms and hands inside the vehicle while traveling--because this is going to be quite a ride!

If Laken and Thad's love story were made into a movie, it would probably make "Twister" look tame. These two sizzle like bacon grease on a hot skillet. But theirs is not an easy story, and the author does an outstanding job of holding the characters true to their natures. This love story doesn't get a simple Hallmark Movie moment where apologies are made, all is forgiven, and they ride off happily into the sunset. That doesn't mean we can't have our golden HEA that we all read for. It just means that the author didn't sweep hurt feelings and bad history under the rug. Good for her. I'd comment more, but I don't want to give away a moment of the beautiful story that is Laken and Thad's.

This is one very well done romance with a host of characters that capture the reader's heart.
