About this listen

When Miller Hobbs finds himself on a winter vacation in Colorado with the giant, exceedingly loud, Marian and Wilde families, he doesn’t quite know what to do with himself. He’s not really a Marian or a Wilde despite having DNA ties to both.

So every morning before the rest of the family wakes up and fills Rockley Lodge with holiday merriment (and noise), he escapes to the quaint downtown of Aster Valley where he spies a man through the bakery window kneading dough and dancing to music only he can hear. Miller is entranced by the dancing baker, and when Darius looks up and catches Miller staring, the interest suddenly goes both ways.

Can two strangers find love among the quaint chaos of an Aster Valley Christmas? Even if it includes the two most overwhelming and meddling families vying for the title of greatest matchmakers of all time?

Cute story. Love getting to see some of the other characters from the series.

These two were cute. Glad they got to meet and fall in love. Aster valley is a cool place. All the men in this place have been cool. Love all the different people who story has been told here. Love the Marian and Wilds families hard not to fall in love with them.

A swoony instalove finding your home romance

I loved Miller and Darius’ beautiful Christmas love story and the coming together of the Wilde, Marian and Aster Valley series. Expect to feel all the feels with this book. I laughed, cried, gritted my teeth, and cheered. Miller is still grieving the loss of his mom while trying to feel comfortable in the chaos of the recently found families of the Wildes and Marians. Darius gave up his baking conglomerate to open a single bakery in small town Aster Valley. Miller and Darius meet when the family chaos comes to Aster Valley to celebrate Christmas together and sparks fly instantly and forever. This book has a little bit of everything - sweet moments, fan your face steam, laugh out loud moments, tearful scenes, plus all the heart squeezing love all set against the loud chaos that is the Wilde and Marian families.

I love Michael Dean’s narrations. As always, he did a phenomenal job narrating the story and breathing life into the characters with enough change of inflection, tone and cadence to voice multiple characters quite convincingly.

Great to get the whole gang together again!

I just love that this a new story but all the same characters make appearances. This book is about family and found family, both are very important. This particular book sure makes a person think about their life priorities and makes very good points! Yep

Miller finds his life long confectionery treat

This book for being holiday related had all the things we love so much about Lucy Lennox’s books and more. I though nothing could top “A Very Marian Christmas”, but she proved me wrong. Everything about this book is magical. She incorporated all the characters from 3 separate yet intertwined book series flawlessly in a way that doesn’t overwhelm the reader. With all this going on in the book Miller and Darius still have a zinger of a love story with all the ups and downs you get in Lucy’s books. You can tell she put her heart and soul into these characters and making sure they fall in love in just the right way. Michael Dean as always did a fantastic job narrating this book as he has with all her others in the past. To me he is and always will be the “VOICE” of Lucy’s books. When i read a book myself I can still hear him reading it in my head. He always does a fantastic job and has a wide number of voices so that the characters don’t all sound the same and get confusing. My favorite part was Sam’s cameo in a particular costume and as always the old lady’s doing their wacky thing at a special family activity, Darius can’t come to put on his instagram business page due to it’s inappropriate nature. My only advice is you must read all the other books before this one. It makes the story that much more enjoyable if you know who everyone is.

sigh of only

I am a huge fan of the Aurhor/Narator combo. l
Lennox/Dean. Michael Dean brings Lucy Lennox characters to life with all their subtle nuances. I'd suggest you read the books in order though. It will help you keep the characters clear in your head..
