A Must Listen To

As always Tia Didmon delivers big time in her continuing series “Magical Midlife Death”. This is an awesome series and I recommend it with high honors. Raven is a hybrid witch and vampire so she has the best of both worlds. Raven and Rene have located the traitors. Raven’s power are increasing to new heights and tension is brewing among the witches. I love the interaction between Raven and Cass. This is entertaining, action-packed adventure, great characters and a plot that definitely held me captive. Oh, I forgot to mention I got the pleasure of getting “Forty Deaths Till Us Part” in the audio version which was oh so good.

Forty Deaths Till Us Part

Forty Deaths Til Us Part is Book 6 in the Magical Midlife Death series by Tia Didmon and all I can say is WOW! OMG! Tia Didmon has created a such a great world with such great characters that I want to jump into the book and become friends with all of them especially Cass, she is as kick ass as they come, I love her no nonsense style, but she also has a heart and is extremely snark/funny. I really don't want this series to end, I seriously will be very sad when it does. Ms. Didmon this series is going to be very hard to top. Ms. Hagaman does a wonderful job bringing this story to life.

Forty Deaths Till Us Part

“Forty Deaths Till Us Part” is Book 6 in both Rise of the Blood Witch and Magical Midlife Death series. The Audiobook is again being narrated by Katie Hagaman who does a fine job of reading this story. I really enjoyed the spicy, action-packed story in the Audiobook form. And that I can cook or clean while listening to it.

I love this series with all its twists and turns. Raven and Rene are an outstanding couple. I highly recommend this series! I do strongly suggest you start with the first Book, “Forever Forty”. This is a wonderful series you will enjoy every minute of and want to read it more than once.

Fantastic addition

This is a part of a series that definitely need to be read or
listened to in order.
This episode is full of betrayal drama action suspense and
romance with some heat to it.
The relationship between the two main characters is still in
the early stages even though they have joined together.
Looking forward to the next episode because this finishes
up on a one hell of a cliffhanger.
The narrators have done a great job of capturing the fill of the book.

Prophecy, Betrayal, & What Comes Next

Gleeful Goblin Review: This chapter in the larger story of Raven and Rene's evolution is riveting. Many secrets come to light, traitors are revealed, but at the core of it all is hope. There are obstacles galore at every turn and each new piece of information is hard won. This story has got me in its GRIP and I can't wait for the next piece of this saga. 5/5 Stars.

A Good Addition to The Series

This book makes a good addition to this series, it's well-written and flows well. I you enjoy paranormal stories that bring out a different side of vampires than most other books then this is a series that should appeal. That said it is a series with a continuing story running through the whole series.

Rene at last seems happy even though the war seems imminent, while Brigid continues to brainwash many more vampires and humans are unable to stand up to her power. But the Vampires now have their Queen and her power is helping to restore power to those who remain loyal.

The narration is provided by Katie Hagaman who does an excellent job of bringing this story to life.

Forty Deaths Till Us Part

Raven is accidentally hit with a knife in practice fighting and a power she didn't know she had manifested. She formed a shroud around herself. Cass had to use her bolas to bring her into the here and now and get it under control. Raven agrees with Rene that she needs to take the tests the head witch wants her to undergo. After some rest she and Rene head to the coven hq. The testing shows that she has more power than the high priestess. Raven refuses to train under Ursula which sends Ursula into a snit and denounces her as part of the coven. Raven is now free to be.
They return to the clan house and there she meets another vampire. Then word comes that their blacksmith has been killed. There they find something that when Raven checks leads her to tell them that she feels this mini garden is what turns them to stone. But who is growing them? Do they have a traitor within the clan?
They discuss an ability that Raven had and that her daughter Jana might have.
There is discussion of Jana becoming a vampire. Then some more information is learned. That leads them to a mausoleum. The information and surprising power Raven has lead them back to the coven. What they learn stuns everyone including the high priestess. Then Rene is infected. Ursula puts a lock on it but a cure needs to be found,
Will that cure be found in time?
Another fast tracked and fascinating story in this series.

Katie Hagaman is a remarkable narrator who brings life into the story!.

I love this series!

No shortage of depth and drama of course. I've read the ebooks as well as listened to the audiobooks and enjoy both Delivery methods. However, I was able to complete household chores while listening so that's a bonus. If you're invested in the series you'll enjoy this part. If you haven't started the series I suggest you do. It's one that is so page turning you'll be chomping at the bit for the next part.
