Publisher's summary

Lexie Daniels lost the love of her life three years ago. Throwing herself into her work as a photographer helped her cope with the pain. But moving on? Well, she's not quite ready for that yet.

Being offered the job of official tour photographer for Fractured comes as a shock, but not as much as the long-dormant feelings the band's sexy lead singer awakens in her. Connor is a world-famous rock star with no interest in love, but his offer of one night together might be exactly what she needs to bring her body back to life. And just one night won't risk her still broken heart . . . right?

Connor Byrne doesn't do relationships, let alone love. After all, he learned early on that love only leads to pain and betrayal. Who needs it anyway? As lead singer of one of the world's hottest rock bands he's got everything he wants: music, the adoration of millions, and willing women flinging themselves at his feet.

Getting to know beautiful but broken photographer Lexie might just change everything though. With the end of the tour fast approaching and his heart still not healed from the past, will Connor question what it is he really wants, or will he let Lexie walk away for good?

Rock star romance

This was a really good book, i love a rock star romance! It’s my absolute favorite guilty pleasure! These two Characters have been through so much in their lives and i love how their story develops. I could feel their anguish as i was listening to the story. I will definitely be listening to the next book in the series.

The narrators were excellent!! I love a good accent ant an Irish accent is 💋!

Sweet, Quality, Feel-Good Romance. 🥰

This ranks up there with the best written romances I’ve ever read/listened to. The knowledge that L.M. Dalgleish brings to this story is awe inspiring. From the photography technique and symbolism described in the photos to the musical knowledge and descriptions of how things are done, this was such an enthralling book. Dalgleish is one of the best authors at descriptive writing. While I admit that I would love to see some new descriptives for steamy scenes since most are a bit cliche and overused in steamy romance (shivered down my spine, pleasure sparked in my center, etc. are some of the common phrases that come to mind), Dalgleish’s writing—the steamy bits included, are so original and refreshing. I loved everything from the length to quality of the content. LMD puts every word to use and the stories flow so well and move forward at a perfect rate. The characters are lovable, and I can get lost in the scenes LMD sets out before me. The literary settings are perfection! Perfect dialogue, not too much internal monologue, and quality writing—linguistically speaking. This story was emotional, but not in a dramatic way. It was steamy and had “mature” scenes, but not really over the top. The focus is strictly on romance, very little is taking place aside from the love story, but it’s done so well. There’s angst—but it’s not as angsty as some, nor is it really overly drawn out. I am stingy with my 5 star reviews, but have no qualms about happily rating this one as such. Superb writing! Sweetness all around.
