About this listen

The wisdom within these pages has the power to unlock our potential as a species and establish an enduring civilization based on peace, self-ownership, and nonviolence.

You, as a free, beautiful, independent human being with inalienable rights, own yourself! You can do what you want with your own body and the product of your labor. All human interactions should be free of force and coercion, and we are free to exercise our rights, limited only by respect for the rights of others. Governments rely on force, and force is a poor substitute for persuasion. When you learned "don't hit," "don't steal," and "don't kill," it wasn't, "unless you work for the government." Governments frighten us into thinking we need them, but we are moving past the statist paradigm and rendering them obsolete.

This book will empower you to be more happy, free, and prosperous, while putting you in a position to help shape our destiny.

Excellent book, OK narration

I LOVE what Adam has written. I agree with 100% of his book, and I plan to purchase copies to give away. However, Adam needs more dramatic pauses to give the proper effect to his enlightening words. I hope he decides to re-narrate his book sometime soon or ask someone with a more captivating voice/style to narrate it for him (e.g., Stefan Molyneux?). Overall, I still thoroughly enjoyed the content. He'd make Murray Rothbard proud.

Profound and inspirational. Thank you, Adam, for sharing such an articulate explanation of the truth we all know, but don't always practice as we should.

A great book on Voluntaryism!

Adam Kokesh does a great job of summarizing the moral code of voluntaryism and localization. More importantly, he touches on the importance of emotional freedom and choosing to be free and happy, vs becoming bitter and cynical over the loss of individual freedom that many succumb to.

Good Intro to Author's Overall Philosophy

See the title.
If you were looking for an overview of where and what the author thinks as a general rule, then this is your book. If you already know his positions and are expecting a deeper expose then I would suggest his website or perhaps an email.

Handbook for a Stateless Society

One thing Adam Kokesh manages to do better than anyone else is break down what a stateless society CAN be, and he does so beautifully here. While it's easy to dismiss what he says if you've grown up thinking the government can and should provide all things to all people, you owe it to yourself to give this a chance. Listen with an open mind. If nothing else, you'll come away having thought about things in a new way.

Kokesh can be abrasive, difficult, and hard to take, and I say this as a fan, but in the end, he understands stateless societies on a deep and personal level as evidenced by this excellent book.

No wonder this book is banned in prisons

The prose is Clear and to the point.
Something you will go back to again and again
Recommend getting kindle version with audible add on
Adam lives his ideas by not using force to enforce copyright protection.

Only comment for improvement would be to slow down the speed of the reading. There are so many great points expressed in few words the reader needs more time to let them sink in. Having the synced kindle version is very helpful

A book I am happy to have purchased in multiple formats even though the author did not use a violent government tool to ensure payment.

Thank you Adam
You have made a contribution to evolution of our civilization
