The ugliest dog in the pound is rescued from doggy death row at the last possible moment. With a new loving family, it's shaping up to be the best summer ever for Frog. But when word gets out he is a rare and valuable Manchurian Mountain Dog, everything starts to go horribly wrong....

What made the experience of listening to Frog Dog Summer the most enjoyable?
A beautiful story, perceptive, funny, at times satirical, and yet also deeply moving, managing to unearth the things people care most about. Wonderfully written and performed. I see it is called "Animals of the Valley #1". I hope there are more to come.A beautiful story

I read this as audio, so I'd like to make a quick mention that the narration was done well for a book of this nature. I think it added to the experience to hear it read aloud.
