Just keeps getting better!

I thought the first book was too oppressively dark and had to force myself to keep listening to the series. By book two, I was glad I had kept going. It's been classic Mike Talbot ever since and seems to get better with each installment.

This one had me laughing out loud before the end of the first sentence, I think--certainly the first paragraph. There's plenty of action and suspense for those who like it, always balanced by Mike's wit and banter with others.

If you've read a lot of Tufo, you've probably already figured this out, but I'll say it anyway. The various Mike Talbot series' are pretty much mutually exclusive. I had read the available Zombie Fallout books first, and expected this series to be the adventures of young Mike before the zombies. I couldn't have been wronger.

It seems as if Mark Tufo had several completely different adventures that he imagined himself in over the years, and now he has stuck Mike Talbot in his place, (hey, I just noticed they even have the same initials) and is writing them up. I think that is way cool, especially since I have a similar situation inside my own head, but I'm not writing about mine.

Highly recommended!

Great Story Continues!!

I love the first three Indian Hills books, maybe more then Zombie Fallout. I was happy to see Mark Tufo return to the story where it left off. The 4th installment picks up where the third ended and while a great listen is a little off from the first three. None the less I love the adventures of Mike Talbot and gang. I often find myself laughing out loud and love how Tufo is able to take the same group of characters and put them in completely different stories. The lap-overs are always nice to see and bring back memories of the other stories. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing Michael's next story. As always Sean Runnette rocks, I could not image Mark's books without him.

Mark Tufo has once again brought Talbot and his crew to life in this book. One of thw most talented authors of our time (he'd never admit to it though, and Sean is the true voice of Talbot!!

Great story and great characters!!!

Be prepared to not to listen to any other authors for a long time. Mark Tufo got me hooked first by Zombie Fallout and the story of Mike Talbot. You will find yourself sitting in your car after a long commute from work finishing the chapter in the driveway. Indian Hills is a great story and I hope it never ends. Got my family hooked on Mark Tufo also and we laugh as we talk about the books. Just keeps getting better and better. Kurt Angell

I just can't get enough!

Where does Indian Hill 4: From The Ashes rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Mark Tufo and Sean Runnette are easily among the best author narrator combos in the world. They took my "audiobook virginity" and continue to destroy the competition with one of the best series on this or any other planet.

What did you like best about this story?

Tufo is a master at descriptive storytelling. He always surprises with his twists and turns in his stories.

Some of my favorite things about this book:
-Old friends return
-For loyal Tufo fans, he throws in a lot of "inside jokes" (not that it's unique to this book alone).
-Descriptive new weapons
-Michael Talbot in space

Which scene was your favorite?

How can you pick a favorite scene in this book? The whole book is one big adventure from the fight in space to the streets of East L.A. the book is full of favorite scenes.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Why did this book have to end? The most extreme reaction to this book was sadness that the book was over... How does Mark Tufo do this with ever single one of his books?

Any additional comments?

Check out all of Mark's other books:
Zombie Fallout series
Lycan Fallout series
I can't wait to start:
Timothy series
Book of Riley series
