I like all of it but maybe the voice actors can do better. Maybe a male could CO-OP with a woman, so it doesn’t have to be that awkward.

I liked it all Because it was just a good story and I think that Elsa really relates to me and Anna can definitely be my little sister

Anna wants only to be helpful with Elsa and to Arendelle, but since Elsa's coronation, Anna has felt a bit put on the back burner. It isn't until a strange mysterious sickness hits Arendelle and Elsa's grand tour is delayed that Anna feels it's the perfect opportunity to finally help.
But, while with good intentions, Anna spins a little magic of her own found from a secret room, she may just be setting loose something far more sinister than she realized.
I really enjoyed this book! I loved the characters and getting Anna's POV. I enjoyed how the story unfolded and how the ending sets you up for Frozen2 the movie.
I must admit, since watching Frozen2 in the theater twice & now reading this book & another Frozen book, I have hit nerd level, lol. Guess it's one of those feel-good stories and characters. And of course, Olaf's my favorite.
Great read.

Loved it!

This book had me, an adult, curiously captivated from the beginning. The story is darker than even the second movie as it deals with fear. You’d think it would be a quick, tidy story, but as some review have mentioned, this is more like a “Frozen 1 1/2.” I enjoyed listening to it, but unlike the movies or even other short stories, it was too scary for my 5-7 year olds. I finished the book without them :).

Great story, not for young children

Our daughters (5 & 8) were captivated by this book but it was pretty scary at times so they couldn't give it 5 stars. We had to listen during the day/in full daylight. We enjoyed listening to it, too! the writing was excellent - much better than we expected given the subject matter! (We're used you the typical Disney princess stories)

Great book - scary in parts

Very entertaining story! My 6.5 year old loved it! She was always eager to hear what was going to happen next!

Great story for kids (6 years old or older)

My 12 y.o.and I enjoyed it very much, but Audible's ages 8-10 y.o. rating is way off. It is very intense and scary at parts. The vocabulary is also much more geared towards a middle school audience. There is a reference to "her wife" that was completely unnecessary, as other couples do not refer to their spouses in a similar manner. It is brief, but if you are the parent of a young child, be aware it is there. The theming is very relevant to preteens/teens, and it can open up some great conversations about growing up.

Enjoyed, but...

I don’t even know where to begin, I love this book SO much and it took me so long to finish it bc I kept rewinding gripping parts. The narrator and writer are a perfect pair, just like Anna and Elsa! The story is intriguing from the very first word and the narrator does an amazing job with the voices, particularly Anna who was my favorite. You could feel her love for Elsa and Arendelle with every breath.

This book has impressive vocabulary and intense themes. I loved it as a grown woman and I imagine it would be great for teens and tweens but def not very young children as the basis is a nightmare that manifests into a bloodthirsty wolf. Not complaining though, I love it went Disney caters to their older fans! I always prefer third person perspective like this and although multiple povs are my fav, this book is delivered brilliantly from Anna’s perspective.

(spoilers) It was very interesting that this story takes place between Frozen 1 and 2 and I had to keep reminding myself that. If you’ve read the prequel with Agnar and Iduna, it was exciting to have their daughters find their secret room. Anna and Elsa are such great characters and this writer clearly understood how to emulate their personalities. I am usually always one to see a twist coming but I did not expect that Elsa was the one whose nightmare manifested! I should have known bc Elsa is ruled by fear and Anna is ruled by love, both of which nearly gets them in trouble in first movie.

I also didn’t predict why Elsa did not invite Anna on the grand tour. I really teared up when Anna saw the letter and all the sunflowers. It also makes sense that Elsa would not be able to shed her fear so quickly from Frozen 1 to 2. In this book, she learns to control and accept it but not let it dominate her. This is an important lesson for anyone to learn. I also loved hearing further romance between Kristoff and Anna! And more of Olaf’s nonsense lol ☃️

There is a great blend of classic and new characters with distinct, enjoyable voices/personalities. I honestly can’t say one bad thing about it. I hope they make more stories like this, the potential of Arendelle and this amazing sister duo are endless! Disney should def consider making this a movie ❄️🌻

Absolutely loved it, this needs to be a movie! ❄️
