The story is Great but the Reader is not so great.

He’s reading with a weird inflection in his voice and it’s terrible if I’m being honest. I can’t get through the first chapter. I don’t see why they changed the first reader they had for the first three books he was perfectly fine compared to this.

THIS NARRATOR IS AWFUL!!!!

I got used to the other narrator and he did a good job. had the right emphasis in the right places and it worked. this narrator is god awful. I he puts all the emPHASis in ALL the WROng PLAses. I seriously doubt I'll be able to finish this this way.
completely ruins the flow of the series!! why?!

One of one

the story of this series is just unstoppable. I would find myself listening to this book rather than doing anything else

Best out of series so far.

I love the new author/narrator of this story. The voice to me sounds a lot better for this story.

Good thing the story is so great!

Because this narrator made my ear holes hurt so bad I wanted to wash them out with buckshot....
It's such an absolutely amazing story! I have fallen in love with every character since the first book. You may want to just read this one yourself, though.

Awesome book....horrible narration

This needs to be redone and narrated by Alex Kalajzic who did an amazing job with the first three books. Shaun emphasizes words that don’t need to be emphasized. He makes listening to this book painful. I just can’t force myself through this. This was a waste of money. Do yourself a favor and just read the fourth and fifth book on your own

narrator is annoying

his voices and accents weren't bad but his normal narrating voice made it hard to listen

Amazing story, horrible reading

I've already read the series myself before but decided to listen to them to catch details I had missed. I loved 1-3, but when I started this one and heared the narrator, I instantly turned it off. I can't push through this one. So I'll be stopping at chapter 1 . I recommend just reading 4 and 5 yourself.

Great book, poor narration

The narrator's inflection is too overly-theatrical, like he's trying too hard, putting emphasis on every fourth or fifth word. I would've rated the book perfectly if it were narrated by Alex Kalajzic.
