Story
When the carnage of war broke out on D-Day, the wounded were brought to an empty nearby church and laid on the pews so medics could treat them. When the war was over, and the blood-stained pews discovered, the townspeople decided to preserve the stains to remind all who would come afterward: This is the place where the wounded are welcome. Blood Stained Pews is a chance to examine Jesus’ original intent for the church, a hospital for the broken. Pastor and author Carl Kuhl is clear: Christians have been getting this wrong.

Second time through and still being transformed.
I love this book for so many reasons. To start it’s practical and simple. A direct call to action with clear reasoning and biblical backing. True stories with interactive narrative make all the difference.
I buy this book as gifts to people and love to hear their application of the lessons shared.
Letting go of past hurts and stepping into Gods direction and plan with confidence is a gift that is strangely difficult to articulate and somehow even harder to receive fully but this book makes the invitation and direction clear.
Thank you for another great book and awesome narration. Hearing the authors heart in the voice is so much better than a general person just stating a story not close to their heart.
