Publisher's summary

Ignorance is bliss - except in self-awareness. What you don't know about yourself can hurt you and your relationships - and maybe even how you make your way in the world. It can also keep you in the shallows with God. Do you want help figuring out who you are and why you're stuck in the same ruts?

The Enneagram is an ancient personality type system with an uncanny accuracy in describing how human beings are wired, both positively and negatively. In The Road Back to You, Ian Morgan Cron and Suzanne Stabile forge a unique approach - a practical, comprehensive way of accessing Enneagram wisdom and exploring its connections with Christian spirituality for a deeper knowledge of God and of ourselves.

Funny and filled with stories, this book allows you to understand more about each of the Enneagram types, keeping you from pausing long after you have heard the chapter about yourself. Beginning with changes you can start making today, the wisdom of the Enneagram can help you get on the road that will take you further along into who you really are - leading you into places of spiritual discovery you would never have found on your own, and paving the way to the wiser, more compassionate person you want to become.

Uncanny, funny, deeply thought provoking.

I got this book on recommendation from a trusted mentor as I was brand new to the concept of the enneagram. I highly recommend this as a fantastic place for people who are curious about it. This book helped me identify my type (2). Discovering my hidden motives and desires has been both fascinating and, in some ways, crushing for me, but definitely worth the pain to better understand myself and the dynamics of my relationships with others.

This book gave me a profound insight into my personality and how and why myself and others operate the way we do

The Road Back To You is a very informative book! The author narrated his book, his voice is very pleasant and entertaining. He offers some of his insights from a spiritual perspective but it is in no way religious dogma. It has given me information about why I operate the way I do. Having this in-depth information allows me to appreciate more fully who I am. If I desire to change how I engage with others and the world around me, I am now knowledgeable of how I should go about doing so. I also now have a more compassionate perspective from which to evaluate others actions, words and outlooks on life.
I have been an Audible customer for 4 years or more and have never before been inspired enough to take the time to write a review. After this book I now know my value and what I and others have to offer, and I offer this review to you. I hope you find it helpful!

Simply whole life enriching

Enneagram has been life changing for me!! The rhetoric in The Road Back to You is refreshing to a culture, specifically the Christian culture, that seems to fall asleep and avoid emotions, not allowing people to be human and themselves. The message of compassion for all people is eye opening and will change the way you interact with everyone.

Great information, just deal with the performance

I love this book and it's content. but listening to him talk was rough. Not the person to narrate the book.
Still HIGHLY recommend this title and it's details. it's been life changing.
