Publisher's summary

It was a chance for a new beginning and a better life for a wagon train of hopefuls leaving the war-torn South to relocate in Kansas. Unfortunately, new enemies and old habits die hard, and the truth can come to mean very little. Out-manned and out-gunned, Ruben, Marion, and Homer put their lives on the line as they saddle up and fight for what is right on the Glory Trail.

THANK YOU KINDLY MR. LEWIS

Any additional comments?

Thank you kindly Mr. Lewis. I've been waiting for number 8 and. like all the ones before, it didn't disappoint.
You do a great job of the narration Sir, and I'd like you to know that your voice has been heard all over a greater part of Australia, whilst I drive loooong distances.
When I was a boy, the books of Biggles were my constant companions along with my horse and dogs. I lived in a remote part of the world.
Your "Trail" series could well reach that experience for me in my old age. They are a comfort to me.
Now that Miss Harmony has a daughter, and Marian has his home, it might be time for a fourth musketeer (as it were), and the series will go on and on.
Keep up the good work Mr. Lewis. I bet there are a lot like me.

Superb

If there is a better story teller in American history then I don’t know who that is. Lewis performs as well as he writes and has built character that you come to love. Well done

PLEASE ... PLEASE ...

Please, PLEASE, PLEASE, someone tell me if there is going to be another (and another and another) story in this series ‘Trail’? I have over 500 audio books and these here books (read by the author David R. Lewis) are the very best I have listened to.
The readings are perfect and the stories perfect ... and not one of them any less than the other. This is my opinion of course but also the opinion of the wife and grownup daughter ... and none of us are ‘cowboy’ people. It is amazing that the other series author has written, ‘Crockett’ are, in my opinion, one of the worst I have tried to listen to. I swear they cannot come from the same person.
The ‘Trial’ series are amazing, amusing (laugh out loud), touching (tearful), exciting and with never a dull moment. Truly wonderful.
David R. Lewis, I pray you live long enough to give us at least another 20 stories!
