The Shadow Foxes' latest bounty mission from the Mage’s Academy is to find mysterious objects of power from the past.
Normally, this would be no problem for Gabriel, the most powerful mage in the world, and his famous guild of lovable misfits, but there are sinister forces racing against them with the same goal.
These objects are dangerous under any circumstances, but if any of the magical objects fall into the wrong hands, the results would be cataclysmic.
And the wrong hands always seem to be one step ahead.

I love the surprised ending and hope more of the harem is involved. For once I would love to see a series roll into what happens to the next generation of ancestors from the main. Give me 10 more book to go into this guys future family tree and there adventures!
Okay, they have finally touched on the title of this series...

The sex scenes were ramped up with there being 3 separate scenes. At the start of the series it was hot,, but now it's just uncomfortable if not annoying. And that is mainly due to the romance between the MC and the girls. It is as deep as the romance between characters in a Disney flick. All the love, non of the depth. No change in character. No conflicts between the different relationships. No further mention of how their past or backgrounds affect how each person behaves in the relationship. Just kisses and sex. Nothing more. And that leads to my next grip...
NO. CHARACTER. DEVELOPMENT. Everything is plot. The MC has no opinions or conflicts or thoughts about anything outside of what the plot tells him. And I can say the same for the others too.
Ultimately the book suffers from the same thing the other book suffer from: Lack of depth. Everything is face value. Which makes it hard to push through the book because you're wanting something more. More explanation on the world. More of a challenge between the other mages. More ways to see the MC use his powers. More character!
Don't get me wrong, the story is entertaining and that's it's strongest quality. Depsite the flaws, everything is still entertaining and it can be tolerated until the end. It's just that the flaws in this book were more on my mind than the pros. But yes, this book is still good.
It's Getting Stale (Spoiler Review)
