Publisher's summary

New York Times bestselling author Sharon Sala enters the eye of the maelstrom as death and disaster stalk Tornado Alley - aided by an obsessive madman.

As bodies pile up in the wake of a storm - stripped, tortured and grimly posed - authorities must admit the unthinkable. The serial killer dubbed the Stormchaser has returned following a tornado and taken it upon himself to bring the death toll up to where he believes it belongs.

FBI investigator Wade Luckett is back on the case, assisted by an agent Wade knows professionally and personally: his ex-wife, Jo. Neither time nor the tragedy that tore them apart have blunted the ache Wade feels for brave, beautiful Jo. And though she tries to deny it, she feels the same. But the stirrings of renewed romance will have to wait until they catch a killer.

The Stormchaser has no intention of getting caught. He's set his sights on a new victim. Jo can forget about the lifetime she dreams of spending with Wade. She'll be lucky to see another day.

Bad narrator

Good story. Sharon sala always writes a good story. Bad narrator. Would buy again just because it's Sharon sala. That's it.

good story, HORRIBLE narrator!

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Well there is 7 hrs and 6 min of my life I can't get back.... what a waste of time listening to this horrible narrator!

Would have enjoyed the book by reading it myself on my kindle instead of listening to this horrible audio version!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Going Twice?

Hard to say as the narration was so crappy....

How could the performance have been better?

A different narrator! This person already butchered the previous book in this series, and now totally ruined this book for me as well. I hope and pray that when the 3rd book comes out A DIFFERENT NARRATOR will be used or I won't purchase it!

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Yes, cause then I might will be able to see the story and not hear a piss-poor narration of it!

Any additional comments?

Sharon Sala is an EXCELLENT writer, and it is a shame that Book1 (Going Once) and now book 2 Going Twice have been butchered and ruined by this horrible narrator!

For all Sharon Sala fans- skip this terrible audio version and read the paperback or kindle versions. MUCH BETTER that way!!!!

The same issues as with book one - poor narration

I should've learned my lesson in book one with this narrator. Mary Kane's narration was such a turnoff I found myself skipping chapters to get it over with. Virtually no inflections. Boring. The voices sounded the same - man or woman. Jo, the female protagonist wasn't a real likable charater, continuing to allow her ex-husband to take the blame for the divorce - which was her decision. Even so, it was the narration which impacted the story the most.
The story was good, but the narration ruined it.
