Publisher's summary

In part one of Gone: Sending a half-naked picture to a stranger she met online seems innocent and fun to Lilly Randall. After spending the past four years working toward an honors degree, she needs a distraction, and flirting with a man she doesn't know can't hurt, right? Clive Parker is the one man who holds all of Lilly's dreams in the palm of his hand. He's the CEO of one of the world's largest technology firms. When her picture ends up in his pocket, her future will never be the same again.

In part two: Just as Lilly was moving toward a bright future, the man she was falling hard for made a choice that would change their connection forever. Desperate to get her life back on track, Lilly sets out on a new path toward fulfillment. Convinced that she can build a life without Clive, she makes decisions that will have far-reaching consequences.

In part three: When Lilly's past showed up to taunt her, the reality she thought she knew was suddenly stripped away. It's hard for Lilly to know who to trust when the one and only person who promised to protect her can't give her the simple answers she needs. Believing in Clive may be impossible, and when the choice comes down to investing in him or herself, Lilly makes the only choice she can.

Hot Hot Hot

I loved this book. It was very well ( intelligently written) the sex scenes are hot hot hot. There are ups and downs for the characters and a very well( formed fitted) age difference. And as for the audio excellent sounding voice playing both parts. This was a hell of a book. They picked the best narrator. Everything was the PERFECT FIT. I GUARANTEE ANYONE WOULD LOVE THIS READ AND AUDIO COMBINATION. GO DEBORAH BLADON. YOU ARE BRILLIANT.

Great storyline

This was a good, tragic story with a HEA. Lilly suffered one of the most gut wrenching tragedies imaginable and Parker was still healing from the death of his sister. Finding each other thru a pic wasn't the optional way to meet, but worked out for them. i loved that the author gave Lilly a backbone to deal with an older man. Their dynamic was palpable throughout the story. The narrator was great at distinguishing the voices of each character too.

Good

I’ve had this book on my kindle for a long time. Finally got a chance to listen to it on audible. This story-series is entertaining, and enjoyable. I wished we got Clive’s’ POV. Overall, I enjoyed it.

Boss romance. 1POV. HEA. Standalone.

1POV. HEA. Standalone.

This is a Sexy, office romance, rich/playboy man, 10ish year age gap romance, set in Boston and New York. Lily is a recently computer programmer graduate with a troubled past. Clive is the ceo of the company Lily wants to work for. The two meet bc Lily sends sexually scandalous items to Clive’s apartment, thinking she was sending it to Clive’s brother.

The narration is ok. But I’m not a big fan of TS. She has good dictation but her voice is too nasally for me.

The HEA is good.... set one year in the future

This is a standalone but Apparently this format is a compilation of four books of this story.

Now, with that out of the way.... this book is not that great. The juxtaposition of erotica mixed with the emotional events the author throws in there just doesn’t fit. This story just feels forced and it’s just not that good. If I had paid for this book, I would have asked for my money back. There are two chapters in this book where lily just regurgitates all the relationship details between her and Clive. Lily makes stupid decisions for arbitrary reasons that makes no sense. Also, there are too many coincidences concerning the characters knowing each other through happenstance.

TOO SHORT..... BUT IT STILL GRABBED ME

This book slowly unfurled to tell the story of a 22 year old Lilly whose dream is to design Apps for Corteck the world's major Tech Company and she's got her Hons. Degree from MIT, has designed some already successful Apps but just can't catch a break with her career. She's been trying out Corteck's Dating App but unfortunately she's gotten a bit carried away when her online sexcapades has now crept into the real world so when a suited, handsome and charismatic man walks into the Bistro she's working in, with her panties and a nearly nude picture of her, she thought things were definitely looking up (well it had been a while!). Thinking it was her online date she flirted and made a few lude sexual innuendos but when her real online date turned up she became speechless because, to her utter shock and embarrassment, the first guy was non other than Clive Parker the CEO of Corteck and how could he ever look at her without seeing 'that' photo and take her business achievements seriously.

Determined to try to overcome the disastrous encounter Lilly makes plans.... which leads to rejection then euphoria quickly followed by high octane sexual chemistry, hot sex scenes, dirty talk and a heartbreaking past is revealed. However, their relationship is a roller coaster of business, growing affections and sex vs. trust and loyalty issues but when a shocking betrayal threatens Lilly's career it leads to bitter disappointment, heartache, painful decisions and finding the truth may ruin her dreams of a HEA.

A very enjoyable, entertaining and sexy listen that was, alas, way too short and because of this it suffered - a few things were skipped or rushed and some descriptions were sadly missing but overall it was still a good easy listen with likeable characters whose lives all seemed to be interconnected. Was it plausible, realistic or factual? not a chance.... but I'm not complaining. Told entirely from Lilly's POV and what made it even more enjoyable was the flawless narration of Tatiana Sokolov who managed to capture Clive's sexy voice perfectly.

Worth a credit? I first passed on this book because it was under 6.5 hours but came back to it because I love CEO romances and I'm glad I did because it packed a lot in so, do I regret using a credit on it?..... not a chance!

LOVE Tatiana Sokolov....story not so much .....

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

I do not think this story worthy of three parts....it could of been told in one.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Monster in His Eyes

Which character – as performed by Tatiana Sokolov – was your favorite?

Tatiana Sokollov is my favorite narrator. I like all her character performances.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Without giving anything away ... two sad people find happiness with each other.

Any additional comments?

This is worth a sale, not a credit.
